I think, you have to pay on extra mobiles... not the one in your personal use.
However the worst aspect of this policy is that the previous FM Asad Umar (good riddance thanks to whom it may concern) created a lot of confusion & uncertainty by imposing the tax, then withdrawing it, then reimposing it. And now i don't what the policy is?
Like how much is the tax? and how many sets are tax-free.

yep but it be classed as second fone if i bring thru airport. the fone is worth 40 quid on street value or ebay but taxes will exceed it worth.

Airport system is not working anymore. You register the phone, once you are in the country. At that time, you should input your CNIC number. Different CNIC number can be used. But Keep in mind, from the date of registration till one year. That will be one free phone. If you register another phone within the one year period under the same CNIC, you will have to pay

You can register 1 phone duty free once a year on your passport. But you have to register with in 60 days of your international travel
