Ji bilkul.You're just speculating brother
You're again wrong, RAFALE is also 4.5th gen jetIt is confirmed that "" J20 is a STEALTH JET Fighter , 5th Generation"". While cofirmed that Rafale jet fighter is a 4th Generation. Confirmed by world that J-10C and JF-17-Blok3 jet fighters are 4.5 Gen jet fifgters .
NOTE;; It is not mandatory for you all to believe these information. For confirmation, go and do full search on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines worldwide.
DELETED the post .I discovered that a group of members in this forum, who are ...........................You're again wrong, RAFALE is also 4.5th gen jet
Do research and don't live in your fairy tales, latest RAFALE version that Qatar/Egypt/ and India is getting is a 4,5th gen jets, And RAFALE is way way ahead from JF 17 Block3 and that's a fact, and i am not attacking your post but trying to correct you lolMr. White and Green .
I am 10000 % right and you are totally wrong and false .
STOP attacking my post.
Unlikely Pakistan will ever get J-16. FGFA will be a reality before thatās ever needed. Also China is not allowed to export them anyways. If Pakistan wanted flankers itās would go to Russia for them. But theyāre too expensive and donāt really fit in to the PAF.IMO, F16s are not going anywhere they will be remains front line jets ( whither we got new f16s or not) ...
J10x will be in 2 main roles, one as second line (backups) of j16s (in case of future restrictions from American)
Second replacement of mirages along with JFTs
J10C will be used for offensive role
Role of F16s will be taken in future by AZM or any other 5th gen fighter
J16s are really a beast, but not likely to happen for Pakistan that easily in reality.Unlikely Pakistan will ever get J-16. FGFA will be a reality before thatās ever needed. They donāt make sense for Pakistan to acquire anyways if J10C is purchased, J10C is enough to bridge the gap until fifth generation fighters can be acquired post 2030. If Pakistan ever does want flankers, SU35>J-16, but neither are going to happen.J16s are really a beast, but not likely to happen for Pakistan that easily in reality.
its only possible if Pakistan can get Russian approval via Chinese pressure along some solid commission in deal for Russian. (But Unfortunately we dont have money in reality)
Yes for PAF role combo of F16, J10C and JFTs will be enough along with few J31 5th gen (in future when they came in production) till project AZM came in production. They donāt make sense for Pakistan to acquire anyways if J10C is purchased, J10C is enough to bridge the gap until fifth generation fighters can be acquired post 2030. Azm and J-31 might end up being one in the same. Pakistan cannot make a fifth generation fighter on its own. Project Azm is not intending to do so either. Pakistan will design the aircraft, make whatever technologies for the aircraft that it can, then borrow the rest from other programs like TFX and J-31 to complete the aircraft, Ideally anyways, we cannot predict the future.Yes for PAF role combo of F16, J10C and JFTs will be enough along with few J31 5th gen (in future when they came in production) till project AZM came in production.
Only role flankers family members make sense is in Naval role, now if PN and PAF think they need something heavier to protect sea or have some offensive heavier jets to keep indian in there area then they can work on it.
Everything you said make sense, only thing i have dought is that azm will be flying in 2030 , its prototype can be fly post 2030 but production will alteast one and half decade's away.Azm and J-31 might end up being one in the same. Designing the aircraft ourselves gives us more control over it unlike the JF, plus the more they can make it themselves, the cheaper and more upgradable it will be.
However it is unlikely Pakistan will purchase An off the shelf 5th Gen fighter while waiting for Azm to complete, it would be a bad investment, rather put that money in the Azm project, because it wonāt be too far off by the time J-31 is ready. After all, PAC wants the Azm flying by 2030ā¦
It is very ambitious for sure, but not impossible. Itās still gonna be a 10+ year development cycle, and Pakistan wonāt be making some of the most complicated stuff like the engines, those will come from J-31 or TFX or something like that. thatās why 2030 is a realistic goal for its first flight and even induction.Everything you said make sense, only thing i have dought is that azm will be flying in 2030 , its prototype can be fly post 2030 but production will alteast one and half decade's away.
Suppose indian able to get F35 from American (both parties play Chinese 5th gen card), which is most likely the case then Pakistan cant wait for azm, in that case as stop gap J31 have to be inducted (in limited numbers).
You are right sir azm can possibly a imporved and Pakistan specification advance varaint of J31 or even can be small variant of J20 as well with PAF specification (considering PAC and CAC close corporations)
