The overwhelming majority of Han Xinjiangnese live in North Xinjiang, which had been underpopulated since the Dzungar genocide (well it was underpopulated even before the genocide). Xinjiang's capital Urumqi started as a Qing garrison town in 1755, housing mostly Han troops. A lot of Kazaks were resettled by Qing in North Xinjiang at that time. Dzungars were Uyghurs' old overlords and Uyghurs were not the natives of North Xinjiang.

I was merely pointing out that the vast majority of Han migration occurs in North Xinjiang, which was the land of the Dzungars before the genocide and Uyghurs were not the natives there. The Dzungar genocide was of course ordered by Emperor Qianlong of Qing. I have never claimed otherwise. So please learn to read before throwing tantrums.
