what you guys say abut rename or restore old name of Qaddafi stadium ? its not a shame we have name of a dictator which is part of history now and killed like a dog by own people i don't think stadium deserve this bad name now . old name was lahore stadium or rename it to any pakistani hero name . how can we rise our voice which reach to PCB officials ?

Pakistan really does need a large flagship stadium. This Gaddafi stadium is now 27,000 which is not good enough.

This will only happen if international cricket is 100% confirmed otherwise it would not be financially viable.

Rename it as " National stadium Lahore" nothing else.No one should mind this. All our stadiums should be National Stadium and then the city where it's located. Except for Iqbal and Jinnah the rest should be like this. Also same thing with airports they should be named after the city.we don't want corrupt bibii airport or traitor Bacha khan who refused to be buried in Pakistan.

Selling naming rights can only happen once there is a brand to invest in.

Useless PCB have no idea how to create a marketable product.

You are right, ideally selling the kit and stadium rights will generate good revenue.

But at the moment we have a reduced capacity tiny little stadium which is now comparable to Bangla level stadium and a shirt maker who I have never heard of.
