And the quality of overall reportings on there have gone pretty much down the drain.

The public platform ideally is better in English so it can be aimed to a more broader audience. Anything in response to a tweet/comment or is felt necessary for local community is OK to be in Urdu - if one deems it's not necessary for global awareness. I personally feel English targets Pakistanis and Non-Pakistanis on the outskirts.
