Reflection of The Humanity, Over 600 bodies found at Indigenous school in Canada

Canadians are willing to admit their past mistake and deeply apologize.

That is one of the greatest, bravest, and most honorable humans can do!

The finest example of humanity!

I give a big two thumbs and applaud for the Canadians.

We should not blame the current generation of Canadians, it's not them who did it, but other persons, which are their predecessors.

But they are willing to apologize for other person mistakes.

It's a pity that you are not the victim!

. . .
I m talking about this thread, check the op post again, what are you talking about?
Simple language, yes the first nations people got the short end of the stick by the earlier generation, what I am not understanding is if you are expecting us, the current generation of Canadians to be exclusively responsible for it although we are actively working towards solving the issue. I can't see how I can make this any clearer dude/dudette.

Do somethng more sincere, it's useless to say sorry to a dead nation being genocided, vacate the lands and go back to your countries of origins,

.
What are you trying to say? Canada didnt' commit genocide or it's ok for Canada to commit genocide if it says sorry after 100 years they did them?
You are talking as if we have the option to go back in time and take it back. We don't, plain and simple. What we are doing is what any reasonable adult would do, acknowledge that a mistake was made, and actively work towards an arrangement that acknowledges the wrong and give the offended parties the chance at equity they didn't get because of those said actions in the past. Your solution to get off the lands today and return it back is unreasonable, unworkable and nowhere close to pragmatic. We know it, the First Nations people as the original citizens of this country know it as well, which is why we will solve this issue together and not unilaterally.

.
Yeah, us Canadians like to take accountability, which is why Canada educates its children about the horrors of the residential schools, and has multiple museums dedicated to the terrible things done to the aboriginal peoples. It's a damn shame though that the catholic church still refuses to apologize for its disgusting and evil practices against these innocent kids.

Having said all that, we both know why you posted this. It's not gonna distract from what China is doing, and it's refusal to acknowledge its wrongs. I take solace in the fact that a eventually, even China will have to face what it has done, and that future generations in China will look at this period of China in absolute shame.

Only the usual suspects will fall for your attempts to distract. Many of them will jump on my comment and call me all kids of things, and use whataboutism arguments, just you watch.

You always imagine China as evil as you are.

If so how come the evil acts are only being exposed today after almost a century and during the years you guys just shamelessly point fingers at others while never reflect and look yourself in the mirror?
Now we wonder how many more evil and wicked secrets you have been hiding till today, this revelation can be an only tip of an iceberg.

This is a solution proposed by a Chinese citizen and not by our First Nations citizens which is about as useless as a Canadian telling you to vacate Tibet.

And you didn't answer my question earlier; if your solution is for all of us to go back to our countries of origin, what about the mixed children between First Nations people and other cultures? What about mixed children between non native cultures born in this land? What about families who have adopted or fostered First Nations children to give them a better life?

Your answer reeks of political malice.

How do you know they didn't? and would you oblige if they did? Tibetan population had at least tripled in the past 6 years and they are still the majority local population in Tibet, where are the native American Indians?

I suggest you look at our school system and the work that goes into making our kids aware of what happened. Even in hiring First Nations are given priority, followed by LGBTQ, followed by women. We believe in equality but also understand that equality doesn't come without establishing equity. You seem to think, even after repeated comments to the contrary that we do not reflect, but the state that Canada is in today speaks to the opposite.

We understand that when we point 1 finger, 4 are pointing back at us, and we are dealing with them better than most nations older than us ever could.

Because it would be a big flipping deal if they did. This is not something that one can hide from the media if they did.

The first nations people are still here in Canada and growing faster than other ethnicities, which wouldn't be the case if we still continued with this genocide that you claim we are currently perpetrating.

Promoting LGBT and extreme feminism is another evil in the West. You cannot compensate the victims of the genocide with another evil behavior.

You turned them from dominant population of the region into endangered species and still have the shame to make these claims, do you mean they should thank you to come to kill off almost all their ancestors and stole their lands?
