Agree with this wholeheartedly, In mature democracies people fight elections over issues like jobs, development, better health care and education. And we are stuck with such politicians. It will take us few more decades to leave behind this mentality.

yadav's are traditional half of MY vote bank of samajwad origin parties, SP,RJD. Earlier BJP was at backfoot due to reservation remarks by Mohan Bhagwat now Lalu has to do the clarification that too just a week before elections,very difficult to make yadav's understand how Hindus can eat beef.Will be interesting to see how much BJP can cash in.

You know why the 2NT is considered failed? It's because some 67 years later, it is still seen by its supporters as dependent on things like Modi is PM or that a bunch of murderous thugs killed a Muslim man.
