I won't have a problem if you just bring it up against people who actually are racist. Trying to implicate an entire race in it is not justifiable however. Because a few white people here call me Chink sometimes I can justify calling them all racists?

I can see why the Chinese would think this way.

The Japanese government should offer unconditional apology for the dastardly crimes on the Chinese people. Not doing so will keep the issue open and there may well be hell to pay at a latter time.

I know Chinese people can never forget those atrocities. They may be at the back burner for now but there may be a leader sometime in the future who may bring it to the front and bring to the surface the hidden angst.

Chinese people are looking for closure and it takes two to do it. So are the Japanese but they were the aggressors against both China and the US so they need to start with acknowledgement and then a formal apology from their government to China. As far as with the US, that's between them but so far it's been a very twisted path and much more complicated with the A bombs and Pearl Harbor. With China it was simply Japanese aggression against China and China demanded no monetary reparations after the Japanese surrender.
