LCH will have a hard time against these MK-II which is supposedly latest and the greatest.
The latest and greatest RBS 70, circa 2003 which is when the Bolide upgrade came online. A newer upgraded called the RBS 70NG is available, but it's status isn't clear at this point.
The RBS 70 uses the same RB 70 missile as the BAMSE (RBS 23) air defense system. The only difference is that the RBS 70 variant use laser guidance, while BAMSE is radio command guided.
However, the RBS 70 is being replaced in Swedish service by a ground launched IRIS-T.
In Norwegian service the RBS 70 was replaced by NASAMS and NASAMS II.
RBS 70 is still a great weapon system and its guidance options make countermeasures very difficult to use against it, specifically the RBS 70 models laser guidance option, but it's slowly being replaced by newer models in the service of its primary users, like Sweden from which the system originates.
It's no longer the latest and greatest, even the MKII Bolide is nearing 15 years old and the RBS 70 NG's status is unclear, but it's still serviceable and a valid threat that shouldn't be mocked.
That is a 6 year old news.
Isn't that Mistral? Not RBS 70?
I see Mistral, Anza (or some derivative), but it's not clear if RBS 70 is in the video too. However, Pakistan is a known user of the RBS 70, so it ultimately doesn't matter.
