Thats what all you guys missed. Why did we announce Arif being brough back to Mumbai? This article also exposed RAWs tactics and how Arif was brought back...why release such information? It will only make it harder to use ever again? More planning should have been utilized...

"blacklisting" isn't foolproof. Known terrorists still make their way into Western Europe or North America and with India's porous borders with Nepal and Bangladesh there is a clear danger of this guy being able to get back into India. Hmm, interesting points raised. I saw a interview with a senior CIA guy and he paid credit to this saying that it actually helped them a lot that the public perceived them as omnipotent. Disinformation shouldn't be ruled out.

He wasn't brought back because the nation longed to see him back. He was brought back to learn how ISIS recruits people, and to prevent that from happening again. Also to gather intelligence about the workings of all the groups there.

I think he could have just as easily been interrogated in the embassy and then taken care of, anyway these type of people usually find their way back to the conflict zone despite the shit he went through he wanted to stay and so they should watch out for his eventual attempt to return.

The shit he went through seems to be a fabricated story and in reality he liked the killing part, if the op is true then he made his way back to India to do some more killing and he comes out to be a remorseless SOB who thought that he's coming back to kill his own countrymen.

Idk there seems to be a lot of conflicting stories of what he was actually up to but I don't think it matters. What we do know is that he was a part of ISIS and that is enough of an offense that warrants death imo.

Right now he is on extended session of interrogation which has been increased by another 14 days. He is being grilled for the inner workings of IS and how he was contacted and how he reached IS, the CIA wants a piece of him as well. Now we know why he was brought back with so much trouble.
