That raised spine is full of Gadgets and other Electronic Warfare Suite, however what's under the belly is more interesting.

There is a good reason. Apart from true 5th gen fighter jets, this machine can take on anything in the global arsenal any day of the week provided the pilot knows what he/she is doing.

No such capability was mentioned for the new F-16 Block 52 aircraft although it is likely that the pods will also be employed by these fighters."

In PAF, only Block-52s come equipped with Drag Chutes.
