Indeed the USSR was established by the West in order to destroy Christian Russia. It was the Germans who first opened the Churches in what is Ukraine after so many years of Soviet oppression.

From my (non Christian) perspective, a leader who labels captured soldiers as traitors and sets up prison camps like the Gulags cannot be serious about the religious way of life.
