People of that area is Satisfied a lot with MQM because they dont get to face any Problems of Street Crimes and other types of Crimes which people of other areas have faced and the Land Value of that area is quite high in comparison to other Middle Class areas in Karachi as well so they are more then interested in keeping Status quo.

Aren't you missing the point here? Let's examine facts here.

1. Convicted criminals were present inside Nine-Zero. Harbouring and sheltering criminals is a crime.
2. Illegal weapons in large quantity were found inside Nine Zero. Some of them sophisticated with scope and suppressors. Such weapons are not used of self defence. They are used for precision covert killings.
3. Farooq Sattar acknowledged presence of these arms and said they were for self defence. That was his first reaction. He also claimed they were licensed. MQM later changed its stance.
4. Altaf Hussain clearly acknowledged presence of law fugitives inside Nine-Zero. He said they should have taken refuge somewhere else.
5. Police, Rangers, Army and Intelligence agencies can and SHOULD raid any place where they have credible information of unlawful activity. They were well within their duty charter when they raided Nine-Zero.
6. Office of a poltical party is NOT a sacred place. Given the activities of political parties, I consider them to be least sacred. LEA CAN enter office of any poltical party on credible information and search nearby houses including that of party leader's relatives if they suspect unlawful activity. No one. NO ONE is above the law.
7. Supporters of MQM were protesting against Rangers who conducted successful raid on a place of criminal activity. I find it equates to supporting crime and I find it disturbing. Honestly.
8. After recovery of weapons and criminals, it was a crime scene. Rangers WILL and SHOULD seal a crime scene to protect evidence and formalities to complete. Demanding them to leave is equal to interference in execution of official duties, again a crime by law.
9. Search of entire Nine-Zero is part of their duties and this is done to a crime scene world over.
10. If unlawful acts are committed by other groups say PPP, ANP, JI etc it does NOT change the fact that Nine-Zero was used for unlawful activities. MQM is answerable to law what happens there.
11. MQM had erected barriers and made Nine-Zero a no-go area. This is unlawful. No civilised nation accepts it.

I am in full agreement with you that such raids should take place on all hubs of unlawful activity. But let's call it a start. Let's appreciate and I would say celebrate application of law on untouchables. No one should be untouchable including Altaf Hussain.

Near MQM main Head Office people are very very Blind Followers and in nearby Area is surrounded by Huge MQM support as well. Its not just Azizabad or Sharifabad which is MQM dominated but whole Central District which includes North Nazimabad and North Karachi as well and if we go further we join by Orangi Town which is WORSE in case of MQM fanaticism.

Thanks. Yes, Rangers have stains on them from their past. Law applies on them as well and must be apapplied if needed. If we are to progress as a dynamic modern society, we must call spade a spade. When Rangers bust a den of criminal activity they should be appreciated, lauded and supported. When they do something wrong, they should be held accountable. Yesterday they did something great. Really great. They touched the untouchables. Did the unthinkable. They deserve praise. When MQM suporters vote for a middle class man, it is an appreciable act. So is their system of social services. But if KKF ambulance is used to transport weapons, it must face law.

When all of us, Pakistanis will start applying law on everyone, whosoever we will gain a real independence. We will realize we dont need MQM or ANP or JI who put us in fear of each other and thrive on our fears of other ccommunities while all of us, Pakistanis, Urdu speaking, Pashtuns, Punjabis, Baluch etc continue to live in misery. Those leaders don't. We do. All of us. Together. Yet we keep hating each other, out of fear these leaders instill in our hearts. The real issue is that we are still using British System in Law Enforcement which have been outdated since Independence. When our Law Enforcement Agencies cant even able to get Criminals convicted you expect they would be TRUSTED by the society????That is the real issue here and for you Raid in Nine Zero is Unthinkable before that but for people here its Discrimination. How would you be able to satisfy your Progress when people doesnt trust you. Yesterday Rangers issued so many Assurances and Guarantees to people that they open their Shops and Rangers would Protect them what happened???Did anyone thought of it???They werent doing that on threat or Party's lines they were thinking why should we Trust our Law enforcement they dont have good Examples to show and that is why they didnt open their Shops.

In current Circumstances when Law Enforcement has no Track Record of anything better you cant expect any Impartiality in the society and most people would always be thinking on the basis of their Affiliations rather then on the basis society. Do you know in Sindh Province non Sindhi is not even allowed to Take the post of CM. Imagine that and you expect that Sindh Province would REFORM with this Narrow Minded Laws to dictate Authorities. This is a huge issue and that needs to be resolved by us or we would remain Pawns in the hands of PML(A-Z), PPP, MQM, ANP, PTI etc. instead of Society with strong Foundations.
