The question is why didn't God do more miracles and save more lives or better why did he let the building collapse like that in the first place? If there is a miracle God gets all the praise, but he never gets criticized for all the lives that were lost. It's baffling.

That's because the building was poorly constructed.

I got your point

But let's leave religious/non-religious debates out of this.

Ok but please don't delete my post, I want the God-fearing people to give some thought to it.

People in hard times look towards a diety and in this case lord to first comfort themselves and second that helps people come together especially in bangladaise being muslim majority, the religion factor actually helps for once as it brings the communitie together in a congregation to remember the poor souls lost and it provides a social mechanism for the victim familie and society as a whole. Please keep your militant athiest view out this thread and I personally respect all views but after this incident not only is your remark in poor taste and it will not get people to flock over to athiesm. If you are looking for a miracle and I am not trying to preach an ideology but your existence itself is a testament to some higher power or force!Been an athiest and have been pessimist earlier in life(blame all problems on a diety), I personally do not miss that part at all of my life but my point being respect people views and being arrogant will not help, food for thought.

Hopefully I did not offend you mon ami, I just find such comments distasteful and discussing religion and mocking people's belief in such a horrific tragedy does not help the communitie heal and while athiesm is a great ideology for some but during these harsh times it is very detremental rather than helpful in healing the communitie. My condolences once again to all bangladaise people and I somewhat feel guilty about buying clothes from GAP now and I will try to avoid it as it buys clothes from this company in particular so we are as equally guilty as you folks are and hopefully the Canadien companie compensate the victims.

you are just being emotional, he just put his views across in reply to somebody who said god saved her...
and please do continue to buy gap, sometimes well meaning stupid decision can hurt people more. This is a industrialization process, too much pressure on companies can push them to move to other destinations.

Only way out is international law, cosumer activism can make poor move vulnerable.
