Rahul Puts Modi to Shame for Betraying the Soldiers, Concedes 1200sqkm Lost to China

Its getting better with time isnt it. Started with 60 sq kms, then 1000 and now 1200 sq kms lost to China. Trickling effect. Similar to what Indian establishment do when they release info about their killed in IOK.

Rahul Gandhi is trying to sound more hypernationalist than the Modi government so that his Congress party will seem relevant in Indian politics.

Rahul should instead speak of peace dialogue and near-future collaboration with China at least in military opposition to the Western bloc if not economic.

I agree that India needs a better opposition but Rahul is a well-meaning person, just that it hasn't yet struck him that he should speak for an umbrella movement ( like the PLO ) that will bring together all of India's progressive and sensible national-level and regional groups. I mean groups like AAP, Swaraj Abhiyan, the socialists / communists, JD ( S ), BSP etc.

None of them are sensible. They all oppose ruling party for the sake of it. I remember Arvind Kejriwal during his anti corruption campaign cursing Congress for corruption in the country. Now that same guy went with Congress and SP in UP saying that it was done to defeat Modi. I mean what about your values, I decided he was nothing but a politician. Lost complete respect I had for him.

This is way bigger than Kargil in 1999. Few people knew that Pak took 700 sq km of IOK in Kargil Daras sector in 1999 till Pak had to vacate under US pressure.

1. Congress should check their core values and change from what they have become. It was a Congress government that added "Socialist" into the Preamble of the Constitution. And what did Manmohan Singh do when he was PM ? Called the left-wing Naxalites as the biggest internal threat to India when instead he should have called for banning and removal of right-wing elements from within all communities in India and additionally called for the government or the Supreme Court to start peace dialogue with the Naxals, asking them to stop their armed struggle and contribute any ideas they have for the betterment of the country.

2. Kejriwal when canvassing for the Delhi elections did a Soft Hindutva turn ( publicly visiting temples and the like ) to not lose but at least he has not continued that now in governance.

3. Swaraj Abhiyan and the AAP propagate the Swaraj system of political arrangement which is similar to the Jamahiriya direct democracy system that governed Libya until 2011. The socialists / communists should look at Swaraj and the former Libyan system and speak for adapting them for installation in all of India and tempered by socialist thought. Progressive youth leaders like Kanhaiya, Shehla and Umar must be put up by the umbrella movement as candidates who will be in various governing positions in the country's next governance system and all that goes with that ( like bringing free education, free medical system etc ).
