Rafale proposal 'effectively dead' as Dassault bid not cheapest

@Horus

That journalist has NO credibility in India ; this is a paid news

He is a KNOWN Lockheed Martin agent who was tasked with promoting F 35
in Indian media

He is putting together some old reports and dishing out news

.
India should invest its $20 billion to develop AMCA and Tejas.
Yes and buy upgraded MKIs with AESA and reduced RCS and other upgrades along with upgrading existing ones to that level.
PS: If Rafale deal is off else go for Rafale.

.
should of went with the Super Hornet. India would probably by now have 40 birds and pilots trained for the SH, now who knows if the Rafale deal will fall through, and if it does who knows how long it will take to sign a contract for the Typhoon.

My Ultimate choice was always this, a practical fighter for IAF.
Super Hornet MKI offer something which is super offering for any airforce:

1>An internal infrared search and track system (IRST)
2>Next-generation cockpit featuring large area displays, features an 11 X 19 inch touch screen with the ability to present the pilot with a 3-D perspective of the air and ground threat environments.
3>New missile/laser warning systems
4>Enclosed weapons pod which includes 2 MK-82-sized weapons and 2 AMRAAM-sized BVR weapons; 1 MK-83-sized weapon and 2 AMRAAM-sized BVR weapons; 4 AMRAAM-sized BVR weapons; and 1 MK-84-sized weapon.
5>Enhanced performance engines,EPE solution will provide 15-20% more thrust to current 98KN GE414 series engine.
6>Conformal fuel tanks, provide an additional 3,000 pounds of fuel and reduce the drag.

And all this cost no more than 85Million $.

But USA will tell where to fly and where not to fire, are you ready for it?

They sanction you when anything went wrong(Pakistan F-16 saga is a good example)

And finally, they failed in our tests!

.
Never was a good idea to be the launch foreign customer for the Rafale, Typhoon OTOH is operational with half a dozen air forces, even the Super Hornet has had a few foreign sales. But for American fighters, TOT may prove a stumbling block.

.
Looks like mother of all deals just aborted, or was that "pregnancy" just a persistent constipated lump of shit? the reality behind all shit talk is that indian purse is empty so empty that they even have to change the way how GDP is calculated to fool the world, on the other hand it also serves the Frenchies right for back tracking from avionics deal with Pakistan

Says the country that is proudly celebrating the acquisiton of 13 third hand jets from Jordan's scrap heap.

BTW, when is the next shipment of bakshish from Saudi arriving?

We are ready with c-130s and p-8 , getting ready with Apaches and chinooks and maybe drones.

Negotiating with four countries is NOT possible
given the troubles we have faced while negotiating with just one ie France

It will be an unending nightmare for our officials
to get any agreement implemented on the ground

In addition you also have to factor in their lectures on Non proliferation and Human Rights

US fighters were ruled out from the beginning ;
US does NOT give TOT and we still dont trust them fully

We were just playing nice

Those 13 whatever hand Jets were enough to make Indians run into the fields while others were causing a melt down on their forums.
I could say something about your breadbasket but will let you just figure that one out.

They didn't failed the test ,they failed the Leh higher altitude test which can be rectify by tweaking the engines a bitas we did for Su30mki and LCA tejas .

If sanction is a major hiccups then why buying C17,P8,C130,Drones ,apaches etc etc.All we need is good diplomacy.
PS:Don't compare India with Pakistan.

@Horus: Thanks for the negative rating, I wrote that post as a deliberate experiment. As expected, the flaim by thorough pro, with phrases like "constipated lump of shit", "shit talk" etc is halal, my response isn't.

@Koovie : You told me on another thread today to just report, and not respond. I have stopped reporting, and this is the reason. The bias. It's much more satisfying to respond in kind and get a red rating (balidan badge) than to report endlessly and see no action taken.

Yea, and we make around 20 spanking new MKIs every year. So please tell your countrymen to know where we stand and where you stand, before taunting us for lack of money.

.
.

So you have convinced yourself that India is frightened of those 13 third hand jets, but India making much superior and new MKIs in larger numbers each year is not a big deal for Pakistanis.

OK, whatever makes you sleep well.

But it's still funny to hear your countryman taunting India for lack of money, when third hand jets are all you can afford.

(BTW, India was interested in purchasing barely used Mirage-2000-5 MK2, unlike Pakistan desperately purchasing ancient Mirage-3 or twice discarded F-16s.)
