russian fighters are target practice fighters. whit that distance systems you have a lot of heat signature and the enemy will know it from 300km that you are coming. The radar beam will be that strong that they will notice a plane. if russians are good with long distance then the others are good with EW, ECM and ESM.

Egypt should go for MiG-29s license production about 100-200 of them instead of Rafael and also for about 12+ Russian Corvettes rather than any French or EU equipment at all.

Practically impossible, unless they are furnished with French crews and pilots.....and doubtful that Egypt will go thru it..

But French equipment is more expensive then US one too, and US have better quality and tech then France, US can upgrade 30 year old F-16 to a level where it can eat Rafale and still sell is around $80 million, but France can do it with Mirage-2000s

While Block-40 F-16 were able to drop JDAMS, latest french jet Rafale got similar system late.
