Hi,

Is that what I see----smoke coming out of SU 27!!!!!

I bet the pilots are all waving at each other and racing around having a laugh, they know they are all just pawns so they enjoy being able to fly super expensive aircraft.

Russia will only lose face if one of it's soviet era aircraft crashes and burns.

Wouldnt be surprised, this is similar to the pictures recently of the "soviet" navy that the UK escorted in the English channel, HMS dragon a modern ship alongside some decaying relic which had smoke billowing out of it like it was a 1900's steamship and a tug boat behind it incase it breaks down, its all pretty friendly despite the media portrayal though and these things are generally known about in advance and often are just "meet and greets" so to speak albeit with a more physical role.

I hope you are aware that the missile cruiser "Peter the Great" (in service 1998) is capable alone to destroy half of the British fleet? It carries 500 kt nuclear warheads on 20 supersonic P-700 missiles capable of destroying huge aircraft carrier at a distance of 500-700 kilometers. Neither air-defence ship missile capable of destroying P-700.

500-700km. That means your ship would have been detected long before that and destroyed by a U.S. carrier group.

I think I talked about British Navy, not the United States. But even against the United States - "Peter the Great" could considerably destroy enemy ships. He aboard nearly a hundred anti-aircraft missiles S-300. So it can destroy many aircrafts from AC.
This ship is "Zumwalt" of 80'-90'.

LOL! Whats the range on those missiles? You know that the Hornets can carry 4 anti-ship missiles per plane with 500+km. Reminds of of the power of battleship Yamato that was sunk by planes.
