And soft power happens both ways, for example if there is some punjabi guy from Pakistan who had started to use terms like "launda" and "chhora" for denoting a guy then there are also indians who has started using many urdu words which we weren't speaking some years earlier.

It was one of these terms and it was very surprising because using pradhan mantri or PM or chief minister is so commonly accepted even among regional languages, that these Persian/Urdu terms have never been heard here except in movies based on Muslim themes. The Delhi based TV anchors though when speaking to a Pakistani news channel do use these words since they want to use as much of language Pakistanis are familiar with as they can.

I don't think there's anything in what she said, but it's common for Pakistani artists to change their tune when in and out of India. Amanat Ali enjoyed his Saregama years in India, but back in Pakistan was mocking how Indian women's 'pyaar karne ka tarika' is funny, which is not very polite.

Then you have the likes of Adnan Sami who refuses to acknowledge his Pakistani identity altogether, just because he fitted perfectly into the Indian entertainment industry. There's nothing wrong in spreading your talent across, but there needs to be a fine balance between dignity and grace.

The only person I've seen showing grace before, whilst and after debuting in Bollywood was Imran Abbas. The presenter of one of the shows tried hard to mock some aspects of Bollywood, but Imran remained graceful and didn't admit to anything that he felt wasn't true.

its not Hindi its pure Urdu in your movies, I watched one Hindi talk show that someone pasted a video here on a forum and i could hardly understand it. As far as why people pay for something they dont understand, we should ask this to Afghans, Nepalese, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans why they watch India Movies.

Hindi or Urdu, the language has roots in both current day Pakistan as well as India. Just because it's spoken and understood more commonly in Pakistan doesn't meant it's 'Pakistani' language only. The language itself is a produced due to foreign invasion and colonisation, so for any nation to claim ownership of it is quiet a silly matter.

I feel sorry for Mahira, she was really happy to be working with srk because he is much loved in Pak but the way things have turned out, i hope this movie releases nd no Pakistani actor should work in India ever again, its not worth it even with the money.

They put too much focus on movies with our actors, I have not seen them giving this much focus to any foreign imports except katrina kaif.

Bollywood doesn't needs an actor , an actor needs Bollywood so your argument that Pakistani artists shouldn't work for Bollywood is a farce and even if it somehow that turns out to be true it ain't gonna affect bollywood a single bit . There is an Iranian , an aussie ,a sri lankan , nigerian etc etc etc standing in the audition queue as we speak .
