South Asian racism is different, like in America the racism against Black has a history (Slavery), against East Asians (Japanese internment camps), Against Arabs (After 9/11) , Against brown people (curry munchers) etc. But in S.Asia our societal racism is driven from skin color to have light skin Bahu, Damaad, Poota Pooti , Nawasa Nawasi. Girls Fantasized Indian actors from the movies who in real life are very dark skin but with help of make up they make themselves look lighter skinned, our awaam unfortunately wants Gori Larki/Larka but with Desi culture, that is why Pakistanis/Indians who are born and raised in west and have lighter skins gets girls very easily, thing is that if it wasn't written in Quran that a Muslim women can not marry a Non Muslim, then thousands of Pakistani girls would marry western boys only because of their skin color.
Another thing is that in America at least people acknowledge that there is racism, but in our society no one wants to even acknowledge it, they don't even talk about it on public debates or seminars, boys literally bleach their faces to make themselves lighter just so they can go on a date on EID.

As for those who does have issues with Kaale (Black) people no matter where they are from, just a small reminder to them that Prophet Muhammad PBUH the best of Allah's creation comes from a lineage of a Black women (Hajar RA) mother of Ishmael AS, son of Ibrahim AS... Pakistanis are not racist at all. I can guarantee that. But yes we have regional prejudice.
But the same lady will marry a white-skinned guy from Bangladesh.

Depends, where I am living saw many many white girls dating black guys and have black babies with them, and black girls looking and flirting with white boys. As for brown's Indian girls usually try to remain within their own race but as time progress and they don't have any religious restrictions such as Muslims so for them marrying a non Muslim Gora is no issue, Pakistani's although will tell you they are not racist and they want a man with good heart and personality but there is underlined that they also want a lighter skin dude, a lot of girls will go with a idiot with less money but with light skin than a dark complex guy with good personality and from middle class.

I am shocked as for how many people actually stop me and my wife (who is white) and appreciate us for been married for 5+ years and still going, and this appreciation comes from both blacks and whites, not the best responses from the Pakistani's I met so far.

It's not really a racism in South Asia imo. American racism is between actual races, while South asian racism is more like physical appearance. Let's say similar examples can be, takla(bald) person, tall /short person, fat /skinny person, etc.

The girls dating black or dark guys is not because they don't care about skin color. But mostly on a presumption(if you know what I mean) which is common in western world about black dudes. Plus mostly the black dudes take care of their body building and fitness regardless of their status or financial well being. I have never seen a white girl with an unfit black dude.
