"If you look at the way people think in this country, that is what makes it a wasteland. People don't even know there is a need for decolonisation of the mind. Even the type of Islam we keep fighting for is a colonial concept. We haven't really begun to understand that."

- Pakistani historian Dr. Ayesha Jalal

"Anyone who says he was never afraid in his first engagement is a liar." - Colonel Hans Von Luck

Interesting. Give it a read if it caught your interest and let us know how it goes.

Currently I'm reading Storm of Steel by Ernst Jünger.

Here's a review of the book: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/...The-greatest-war-memoir-I-have-ever-read.html

I am in a problem right now as far as book reading goes! :(

  1. I am in Faisalabad and there is no single good shop with nice collection of English books.
  2. The city have no real collection with military so no military literature available at all.
  3. Lahore have some nice stores but the books there are VERY expensive. Currently i have to wait for a trip to pindi to buy all the books on my list
  4. The online stores are not delivering paperback in Pak (amazon do not)
  5. AND I AM MARRIED NOW :(
