Featured Quetta: The death toll in the attack on FC post has risen to ten

Once a post is wrongly sited, with no mutual support from nearby posts, no backups in the form of mobile or airmobile troops, then this is bound to happen..... I mean there are more than 20000 ARMY troops deployed in Balochistan as well, even then we find majority of the attacks against FC... That's because they have vulnerabilities which they are unable to eliminate....

All officers in FC are accountable to MoI, not GHQ.

This was not an attack on a CPEC project protected by the army.
Very well, one last question.
When an injured FC soldier is brought to CMH, does the army pay his bills, or is a receipt sent to IM?

... And then most of us always drag army, GHQ and COAS into FC matters....which is again wrong.... As being highlighted multiple times, MoI is the one responsible for all this..... GHQ has no say in the money, training, equipment or other matters of FC.
While GHQ has a say in every single matter but not in FC? It might be on paper but in reality army has the biggest stake in balochistan which is to keep cpec safe so its hard for me and many others like me to believe that GHQ doesn't have atleast a say in fc?. I follow this OSINT guy from balochistan and every day i see atleast 4-5 reports off people killed by unknown men, law is nowhere to be found, yesterday 3 minor girls we're shot in a swimming pool, every single day there are multiple reports of security forces being targated in balochistan. This is not how CPEC will be successful and most off all this is not how balochistan will be saved from insurgency.

A senior security official stationed in Quetta said on condition of anonymity that more than 20 assailants armed with sophisticated weapons surrounded the check post from different directions. They fired indiscriminately with Kalashnikovs, sniper rifles and other small arms.

Good God, how on earth are they allowed to gather in such numbers? Scrap the outposts, until the regular army can be deployed in numbers with them, and we have CAS from loitering drones over head. Enough is enough.
Hundreds of FC brothers have been lost.

I would love to place FC under GHQ as well for all the obvious reasons..... You may like to visit MoI website to see who are those really responsible....

Nopes, Army pays the bills entirely, no receipt is sent to MoI.
So why doesn't the Army get a say in control of FC deployments? Having a squadron of Tucanos for air support can drastically change the direction of the conflict. Case in point Combat Dragon II.

Good God, how on earth are they allowed to gather in such numbers?
Seasoned veterans, foot soldiers trained with deadly skills and foreign instructors operating in own soil and neighboring countries can come up with such audacious planning. These are not rag tag militia.

Precisely, how on earth is Army not involved in tackling this threat?

Clicked on FC on interior ministry page and a website for Pakistan Army opened up, can't make this shit up... What a cruel joke

So this is more of an operational mistakes that the FC is making. Still this begs the question like you said there are 20,000 troops stationed in Balochistan, than there is PAF, if fight continued for several hours and irrespective of whether the site was chosen wrongly, does it not raise serious questions on our capabilities? I mean we are not at war and this is an isolated incident where one post is attacked while all the other organs of the state and institutions are fully intact, than why would no body respond? A chopper from the army aviation, a drone, an F-16 from the airforce, there is something wrong here which I cant seem to comprehend.

That says it all... MoI can't even maintain its website properly, what to talk about the whole FC

You summed it right... Operational mistakes... Otherwise FC and MoI has no dearth of money...

Armored vehicles are already delivered / process of delivering continued with training. RIP

We are at war hence can't say nobody from our side will hit. Sad but reality.
@PanzerKiel

So that is your justification for FC Balochistan continously getting butt f*cked by militants?

When did you last hear that any one of them, who are directly responsible for training and equipping FC.... Visited any deployed FC wing?

Army should conduct an intelligence operation in the area and hang the handlers by their balls.
