Question from another board

As my first post, I'd like to ask a question that came to mind from another board and discussion. I was talking about why OBL and his Lieutenants were still at liberty in Northern Pakistan. Sparten rightly pointed out to me that Pakistani forces were fighting and dying trying, but my question is this:
Why doesn't Pakistan allow foreign Special Forces into the area? NZ SAS, British SAS, American SF, all would be an asset in hunting them down, why can't this happen? Looking forward to your answers and appologies for my ignorance.

No sorry, no foreign troops are conducting operations in any part of Pakistan. And we will NOT allow anyone to come and do such. We are a sovereign nation and can take care of things ourselves. Involvement of foreign forces would mean major internal political upheavel and unrest in the already volatile situation on our western border.

How would Americans, British or Australians feel if Pakistani SSG was conducting operations in their backyard?

OBL is not in Pakistan, well not for now. He will be when US wouldnt need paksitan's help anymore. Thats how the game of politics is played.

Exactly, OBL could be anywhere.
He could still be very well hiding in Afghanistan, Tadjikistan or Kyrghystan in the remote areas.
Even despite taleban uprising in FATA, the place is far from ideal to hide due presence if PA and heavy survelliance from US satelites.

Well I'm from NZ but we regularly conduct joint exercises and and campaigns(?) with the Australians, British and Canadians, less so with America.
As an aside for those of you unfamiliar with what we're up to, we had a strictly reconstruction team in Iraq but withdrew them because they were constantly confined to barracks because of the ongoing instability. We've had a peacekeeping/reconstruction team in Afghanistan since the ousting of the Taliban and our SAS do 6 months rotations through there, mostly in the south, during the same period.
We hosted your President here towards the end of last year and part of the talk was of closer military ties. I was wondering, how would the feeling be towards joint exercises and combat with your Special Forces and our SAS, under a Pakistani mandate of course?

Now there's the difference between joint 'exercises' and 'operations'. Then when you refer to Iraq and Afghanistan; there soveriegnty is questionable since their invasions so it doesn't matter which force from what country operates there as they are in a state of occupation.

A completely sovereign state where invasion has not taken place would hardly ever allow operations by foreign forces to be conducted on its soil if it is capable of conducting such operations on its own, given the ability of its own forces.
