Turkish defense companies received great interest at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, which ended yesterday.

Five companies under the umbrella of Turkey’s Undersecretariat of Defense (SSSM) and Roketsan, a missile maker, showcased their up-to-date products at the fair, including military equipment, weapons, missiles, and defense technology software.

Turkish Ambassador to Washington Namık Tan, who visited Turkish stands at the fair, told Anatolia news agency yesterday that he was impressed with the successes of the Turkish defense industry.

“The defense industry is a mirror of the successes that have been achieved by the country in the areas of technological development, research and development studies, and sensitive technology,” he said.

Roketsan netted interest at the fair with its short range “Cirit” missile, while Gate exhibited its cameras and detectors that can be hidden in rocky fields.

SMM executive Lütfi Varoğlu said this was Turkey’s first attendance at the event, which hosts the biggest players in the sector.

Meanwhile, Shotgun Magazine, a leading U.S. defense publication, has featured Turkish pistol maker Sarsılmaz, saying it spearheads a “Turkish Revolution.”

Why you think we're not close ? its the natural result of living together for hundreds of years, are you thinking being close with them is something to be ashamed ?

Living together doesnt mean that we are two close nations. Things will never change and one of these things is the hate agains Turkish people. Only people without historical knowledge will claim such crazy things.

Hate, my friend, isn't a difference.

South Koreans probably hate the North too. To me they are brothers who are in a dispute.

If you can remove your horse-glasses and look at it this way; all men are brothers no matter identity, no matter nationality, religion, age, gender.

At one side, annoying, extreme nationalist teenage boy with acnes all over his face, at the other side, narrow minded, unreasonable radical islamist yobaz...
