Question about life that make me restless

nobody will strive for excellence then,,,,,human nature.
why do u think most successful ppl have humble backgrounds.

Apart from that, a lot people would start creating stock piles if everything was for free. Greed, every human has it sadly.

We all know childhood, adult/ old age don't last forever and we all know when we die we leave all our property/gold/money/savings/bank balance/belonging etc behind us for someone else to use so my question is why we make ourselves extra busy in work/career and put so much efforts to get all these money, jobs, nice property, power, status etc which are all temporary. Even relationship are temporary. Whats the point of earning and saving all those money which you could not spend? What the point of building a great home which you will leave behind after using it say 60/70 years .These questions dont let me enjoy my present moment because i feel its temporary. I feel i will be old soon even when i am young right now lol.

Anyone else get such kind of weird thoughts? or its just me

70 years is not temporary... its a very long time... people even modify rented house (with permission) to make it livable.
We in subcontinent hoard money because we dont have safety net... one major illness of you/your family can make youa beggar, so it makes sense to keep money.

. I did not mean to start religious debate over such issues because different religion tackle these questions differently. These are questions which get in mind of people belong to all religion even atheists or agnostics

Agreed because basically we all are human and in my personal opinion all religions somehow aimed at salvation

I asked this question to get the idea about how many people actually enjoy/appreciate life and everything in there after getting such questions in their minds. I have seen almost all of us are busy in worldly matter as if these material things/power/status/relationship will last forever and there is competition about who get the most and best of them

i cant say about others but the same question comes to my mind rather came many times during all these years of life.

Started like a normal child somehow possessed few different traits at early childhood, ruled many minds and manipulated many, remained a stubborn person, fought harshly on every front, made way through harshest/hardest situations, been rude as well, ignored those who really liked and loved me, made some wrong decisions, made mistakes, had some wrong judgments at times as well, seen ups and downs bad times and happy movements too, achievements (if this is called enjoying life then well yeh i did). Now despite all this came to conclusion and practical at the end its serving humanity selflessly but the at the same time spending your normal life.

Thats what Islam teaches you have to carry on your normal life activities.

Accumulation of wealth beyond your needs is just wasting your time and energies and above all its wastage of your social life and rest thats what i realised but since couldn't help correcting it by now i had channeled the extra bucks to right direction "Humanity" am satisfied and No more that greedy, competing person.
