Qatar to Overthrow Saudi Regime

boris > Mosa explained well that things changed in KSA since this photo ;)
this is all about the situation now not about a picture of Yalta conference

I don't want Saudie regime to be thrown out because after that more radicals and extremists will take over and destroy the beautiful country and destabilize the region.

I agree but it is a testament as to how hard the americans worked for strong relations, until KSA has the tag of worlds largest oil fields no country can touch them, because they will turn to america like they did in 1991.

saudi arabia is very strong kingdom because
1. it royal family is very large and organised
2. its selection of king is based upon the royal vote rather than pure bloodline which makes it a very strong kingdom

The sequence of passing on Kingship is.

1. Father
2. Eldest Son
3. Till Youngest brother of Eldest son
4. Then his son.
5. Repeat.

It is not as simple anymore. Elder sons get preference still, but it also depends on whether they are from a favored wife and how many brothers he has to take over ministries etc. (There was a great article on Saudi succession in The Economist last year.)

Qatar's army is not a problem which I really found funny how the article said "The army can not confront the future changes" the Saudi military machine is in the best state it has EVER been and is only getting stronger by the day.
I have to agree - if the Saudi military 'cannot confront future challenges' how on earth is the military of a minuscule country like Qatar going to 'overthrow the Saudi regime and confront the Saudi Army'?

The only way this is possible is if US/UK/Isreali troops are deployed as the primary force - the Qatari military will play a supporting role in all but name...

What is worrying is that i am normally critical about Saudi royal family for being too pro Americans. but the problem with the Qataris is that they are more pro American than Americans themselves lol

What is the difference between Kingdom and Monarchy as somebody said earlier. I thought they are one and the same.

Sauds are American puppets and any attack on Saudi would send the americans into a big recession, Saudis provide a huge percentage of the world's oil.

House of Saud is still needed at least for a while, actually Abdullah has been moving away from the us somewhat. as for Qatar it's a little Pea that needs to be squashed, Al jeezara is getting annoying. Best to have another reformer like abduallah.

I think this is BS, both qatar and arabistan are western puppets, usa will decide when they get a new regime.

China produces cheap goods that allow poor Americans access to many more goods.
And, if Saudis promise China to replace Iranian oil for China, that will allow the US to sanction Iran.
In fact, Saudis are being pushed by the US to convince China to move away from Iran ... by guaranteeing Chinese oil supply.
What is there to be unhappy about ?
USA is unhappy because saudis give oil to china.

^^

If that was true then china would had done it by now...
the reason they are not is because Iran has the world largest gas reserves(since they discovered that new field) and also Iran has is significance in the ME than the saudis for china. you see saudis are just a usa puppet whilst Iran is active on its aggressive stance against the west , and china likes that.
