.
I just found this video,and is interesting to share it with you.
(The Jealous can say whatever they want,but the arabs sure know how to make documentaries about their armed forces) :nana:
@Frogman @Saif al-Arab @Kamal_dbk @Hell NO @Mahmoud_EGY @Frosty @Gasoline @Falcon29 @azzo @BLACKEAGLE @Ahmed Jo @Mosamania etc.

The Gulfies sure can! :taz: They don't even have to be any good like the Qatari's :hitwall: While in Egypt we have to wait for years until we get a HD video or pictures!

Been waiting for this documentary to come out for the past year or more!!!!!

I won't tag all the brothers but who here would be willing to create threads about the militaries of all 22 Arab countries? I know that we have already covered a lot already (Algerian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Saudi Arabian, Jordanian, Moroccan (never updated sadly), Omani, Emirati (if I am not mistaken), now Qatari but we still lack a lot of armies to cover.

I also know that there are not that many of us here compared to our real numbers out there but that's another discussion altogether.:D

Is anyone willing to do that or at least cover 1-2 Arab countries that are yet to be covered? I am thinking that @Frogman might be the man for such a job if he got the time?

@Mootaz-khelifi and @Tunisian Marine Corps you should create a thread about the Tunisian Army.

@Falcon29 you should create a thread about the Palestinian (West Bank) army or at least Palestinian militant groups and create 1 thread for that.

@Hassan Al-Somal you should cover Somalia.

@ebray although Ethiopia is not an Arab country it's a neighboring country (almost) and has an Arab minority.

@Belew_Kelew @Aegis DDG should make one about Eritrea which also has an Arab minority and Arabic is one of the official languages. If I am not mistaken then Eritrea is an observer state to the Arab League.

Those potential new threads should be made "sticky threads".

Also I hope that Qatar will play a more constructive role in the Arab world and that they improve relations with our Egyptian brothers.

What do you say?

Thanks for the share @Gabriel92

@al-Hasani

Need about two weeks and will start. :)

Great to hear bro. Ask the moderators to merge your thread about the resistance in Gaza with the potentially new thread that you will make now.

@Saif al-Arab

I only have time these days because I'm on my Easter break/holiday after that is exams and my placement plus other green stuff :(

But you are arguably one of the most knowledgeable users on PDF in its entirety when it comes to military know-how. I am sure that you are well-versed in many Arab militaries. Just take your time. It can happen next week or in 3 months time. It can be a long-term project.

I will cover Comoros then.:lol:

I and @Ahmed Jo covered the Omani army overnight if he recalls.:D

@Gabriel92

Please change thread title to Qatari Armed Forces.:enjoy:

i have many threads and this the latest ( new one ) TUNISIAN ARMY PIC 2015

Yes, but we need to create 1 sticky thread were we can post news about each Arab army. There is no such thread about the Tunisian army from what I aware of. I might have missed it. Many threads in total though. It's so much easier this way and you can browse back in time too. Right now you would have to search for 30 threads or so.

Big news will continue to deserve their own thread.

Qatar is no heavyweight boxer that's for sure but compared to their size and population they are very well armed. You have to remember that we are talking about a country of 2.2 million. Locals only form 500.000 or so. Rest are Arab and non-Arab migrant workers/residents. In terms of size then they are 6-5 times smaller than the Sinai Peninsula for instance. That's what we are talking about. So we have to put that into perspective. If we do then Qatar is very well armed IMO. Regardless of being a very rich state and thus having the opportunity to arm itself this well.

Oh, and trust me when I say that I am not the biggest fan of Qatar. I am talking about the regime although I don't really know any Qatari. They are hard to fine, lol and might explain why none of them have found their way to PDF yet.:lol:
