While I am deeply saddened about the loss of Urdu people during that operation,
We must not forget the historic oppression by Urdu Spanking People since 1948,
And the brutal oppression since 1983 by Urdu people.
Why it is that Sindh's major city aka Karachi has been ethnically cleansed of top posts all thanks to Urdu Spanking people.
Can you ever imagine Lahore without Punjabis in the top posts, Peshawar without Pathans in the top posts, and Quetta without Balochis without top posts in politics, admin, judiciary, etc. etc.
No.
But my friends my community has wiped out the native Sindhi population from top jobs in the city.
And
then so many of us sit together, eat Pulao, and blame Sindhis and other ethnicities for all the $hit. .
Sadly.
Agreed.
I think the roots of KHI problem go back to before Islamabad was made Pakistan's capital.
I believe the sense of hostility took birth at that time amongst the local ethnic groups against the migrants.
It is logical to assume that this hostility was due to deprivation.
The deprivation may have been due to the fact that the migrant population was possibly better educated and more skilled than the local options.
However the migrant population did use it's advantage in education and skill (1947 - 1960s) and systematically cleansed all positions of power from locals.
There is a cultural aspect to the problem as well, which I do not want to discuss at this moment.
