You are quoting the leader of an Islamist party that had very little support according to polls in the runup to the 2008 elections.

How does that 'show us the current situation'? Its a pretty narrow viewpoint you are using to validate your argument.

Well actually the BJP does have widespread support, and it is tipped to win the next general elections.

Also, the BJP is NOT the mirror image of the JI - not by a long shot.

JI is a democratic political party and recent disclosures by the arrested Indian Colonel show that BJP's sister organizations have links with terrorism, so there cannot be any comparison betwwen BJP and JI of Bangladesh. Those Pakistanis, who wish to see Awami League in power, a party that curses Pakistan at every step, are morons of the highest calibre and certainly Mr. S90 qualifies as one.
