I am translating this article in English for our beloved Non Urdu members..

A Pakistani citizen going under medical treatment in Gangaram Hospital in Lahore Mr: Abdul Rehman said that he is the Great grandson of Mirza Ghulam ahmed qadiyani and he is the son of 3rd Qadiyani khalipha mirza Nasir.

He was talking in express news program " Point Blank " .

He stated that i read the book " Qadiyaniat and Islam" of Maulana Ahsan elahi Zaheer which provided references from the books written by Mirza .

He said after reading the book i believed that He ( my great grandfather ) is not a promised messiah nor a Prophet so i converted to Islam in 1999.

These days i am working at Bhasha dam and few days back i came to Lahore and on a Bus stop near Gangaram hospital almost 10 to 12 people came to me and asked whether i belonged to " Rabwa" ( Qadiyani town near Jhang district in Chaniot )
When i said yes , they Kidnapped me put me in the van and took me to an unknown place where they Tortured me and assuming dead threw me out of the van at the same place they had kidnapped me.

After knowing the incident Allama Ibtisaam elahi took me to the hospital .

Abdul rehman says that he was severely tortured only because of Turning to Islam and becoming a Muslim and they are pressing me to become a Qadiyani again!

The news item about beating the "alleged" grand son of the Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) is completely, false, baseless, disgusting and shameful. Mr. Abdul Rahman is not at all the son of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih-III (May Allah have mercy on his soul).

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) has cursed such person who calls someone else as his biological father other than his own biological father.

He is and we all should make dua that Allah (swt) give Hidayat to him and all the Qadiyanis, Ismaili's, Bohris, Shias, Hindus, Buddists, Christians and Jews.

lets not paint everyone with the same brush
even though there is some contradiction between shia and sunni beleifs, shia community have a strong belief in the 5 pillars of faith which is the basic criteria for entering the circle of islam. rest we cant do anything about it..so please dont put them along qadiyani's, hindus, jews etc.

I meant to say even if he is not we should still make dua for everyone, including Sunni and Shia. Being a muslim doesn't gureentee that he will remain a Muslim and he will die as Muslim. I have seen Muslim becoming Bahi and Hindus becoming Muslim. We all need Hidayat Sunni, Shia, etc.

we are not here do discuss about , sunnies and shia's imo the differences are " misconceptions "

As should the 'Muslims' who abuse Blasphemy laws to persecute other non-Muslims and Qadianis.

There have been far more instances of 'Muslim' mobs riled by lies, hate and prejudice attacking Christians and other non-Muslims in Pakistan for perceived 'slights' than there have been of Qadianis attacking anyone.

Every crime should be punished, through the systems and processes established in the constitution, but don't forget that when it comes to intolerance over faith, Muslims in Pakistan need to get their own house in order before accusing others.

You have the right tp express a personal opinion - you do not have the right to express hatred on the basis of race, religion or ethnicity. Qadianis are Pakistanis, and as such they will be respected and their faith given respect, as would any other individual's faith, on this forum.

That is probably more than the State of Pakistan has been capable of doing since the times of Bhutto, but we can all serve to make a difference in our own little way, and this forum will make a difference by ensuring that Qadianis are extended respect and equal treatment that is denied them in Pakistan.
