It was one of the most outstanding opening ceremonies with rich cultural and artistic contents. It was a event full of Russian folklores literature, arts, beautiful costumes. history music dance space and science which covered Tolstoy, the October revolution, Russian industrialization, Romantic history, Solovyov-Sedoi, Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Ballets, Khachaturian, the Kremlin and St Basil's Cathedral, Isinbayeva. and Sharapova in the torch relay.. literally all the famous Russian icons

It was a good move by arranging the Teams parade before the show so the ahtletes and staff can relax and be a part of the excited spectators. The showing of the LED-waving flag, the 3 white-horses com red-sun in mid air were very inspirational. The animated images of sea waves and all the iluminations of each country's geographic map on the field upon each Team's entrance into the stadium were all ingenious creations.

Well done, Sochi! Looking forward to more good things coming in the events!
