Yes it does.From time to time they ask silly things like "consult us over NATO decisions,over EU decisions" and so on.To draw attention they start moving missiles here and there or some silly trade wars with small european countries like Moldova,Finland ,Lithuania.

yes, exactly. Russia is no longer in a position to be a threat for USA, or even Europe. They want to attract attention and gain some concessions. Another example is their game with closing gas pipelines in the winter.

If you do not have the threat from Russia - why would you keep the occupation troops in Europe? Why deploy nuclear weapons in Europe? Why build a European missile defense?
