It's a dumb move. As if Russia would start nuking European targets i.e. nothing new here, we've had their nukes targeted at us since WWII. If it does use, it is WWIII instantly i.e. suicide for Russia.

For someone from a country that has been sucking the US military and economic aid teet so eagerly for so long to applaud Russia in this is very short-sighted. What has Pakistan to gain from post-nuclear Russian dominance (if any), should Western civilization be nukes into oblivion? You truely believe you would be better off? How?

Russia won't nuke anyone as a first strike but it is a nice defensive move.

No,we are not talking in this thread about Romania or Poland.Nor was he talking about Turkey,you just inserted yourself in here for the lulz.

As i said, Turkey doesn't figure in our calculations at all in case of any confrontation with Russia at all. The thread never even mentioned Turkey, it was the last country i had in mind when talking about other NATO members.
The main pillar countries in NATO are U.S, U.K AND FRANCE in that other. These are the countries who have the industrial/ military and technological capabilities to stand on their own and can be self sufficient in making basically any complex/strategic military products require to sustain a war(Germany does as well, but they have been shying away from rearming/focusing on military for obvious historical reasons), the rest are just dependent on these Powers for military hardware,spares, and technology or for those few European countries who do they are simply not large/powerful/influential enough to make a difference.. They can't be considered real military powers on their own right per se.

The flight distance from Kaliningrad to Amsterdam is 660.03 miles / 1062.22 km.

Iskander could hit e.g. Berlin (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Prague (Czech republic). Vienna (Austria) is on/just over the limit, so are Bratislava (Slovakia), Budapest (Hungary).


So the Iskander threat is mainly a chunk of Sweden and Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and a chunk of Germany

Sweden and Finland have signed security agreements with NATO. Sweden signed the agreement 1 month back and Finland some 3 to 4 days back .

Russian Military has deployed Iskander even in Arctic region and even near to the Ukraine border. Its possible its even been deployed in Syria.


B-61 bombs 180 were deployed with NATO allies in Europe as per as 2013 reports.
