There's only so much a country can do and even China has already reduced if not fully cut out it's imports from Iran due to US pressure. I agree with this. Russia is not going to give Iran a blank check. Russia would prefer if Iran refrains from nuclear fuel enrichment. The problem is that the Americans will not accept anything less than the withdrawal of Iranian influence in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other places. So America will attack anyway. If Iran is on the verge of total defeat, Russians will step in to prevent a pro-American regime.
