Put behind 'unfortunate' 1962 war, China said to India

south Tibet is too big a piece of land,I don't think Chinese government will risk being overthrown by the people by accepting loss of that land,so it simply won't happen.flaring nationalism will swallow the government up.so the best Chinese government can offer is to split South Tibet half and half I guess.

Not going to happen india will not give even one inch of Arunachal Pradesh to china

Only possible solution is china recongnizes south Tibet /arunachal is indian territory

as always, the Indian's solution to everything is "give us everything we want and there will be no problems"
Indians need to get out of such childish mentalities and come to the real world of adults where things are talked over and compromises are made for the sake of peace and prosperity.

Wrong

The Indian approach is ' reconcile with what you have, covet not what another does". Move on.

Remember, India too has claims across yet is willing to reconcile to what it has lived without for 65 years.

I as actually referring to the attitude of the people, especially in the above comments.
But if you want to look historically, Indian government also does not have a good record of negotiated settlements. Right from birth India was using it's military. Then of course there was Goa, issues with Pakistan, China, SriLanka, and now seems like Nepal is also not very happy either.

since neither side will back off from their claims so now the only thing the two governments can do is to stablise the LOC,but still, future conflicts may flare up any time and two countries will slide further away from each other and eventually become arch sworn enemies.that land is a powder keg that will cause a big big war in the future, maybe not near future, but it will certainly come, both coountries should prepare themsevles for it.

Not gonna happen both sides still knows that they need decades if development & a boder fuss even if a small one can disturb thier growth & CBMs between two countries seem to be working

I do not see the point that is being made. In 47 it was Pak who sent in its army in J&K when Hari Singh acceded to India so how is India using its army since ' birth'?

Goa was Indian land which the Portuguese chose not to leave. The French quit Pondichery peacefully. The colonists had to go.

In any case one does not have to appease neighbors, they are as much a neighbor to India & India is to them.

The bottom line is reconcile to your Geography & focus on the Economy. The rest will follow.

I know that you unable to see my point, physically you are unable to see it due to....well we all know why ;)
I have no desire to kill brain cells with you guys.
My point still stands. India chooses military action before giving dialog and compromise a chance.
History has shown it and no one can deny that.

what is the significance of 1962 war for india?
For Chinese people it is only a small conflict------small scale ,small amount of troops joined in, small runtime ,and finally, small victory. so it is easy to forget.:azn:

China just try to cheat India to leave SCS(east sea),and they will backstab India brother right after that:coffee:

Our interfere in SCS is response to their interfere in Kashmir, Chinese are still interfering there stationing thousands of Chinese troops in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Kashmir.

How is that possible in China when everything is well-censored nor China is a democracy. :cheesy:

China has very funny basis of claim on Arunachal Pradesh, nor the people have any contact with Han Chinese in their entire history.

We should forget it asap. There is no point in keep remembering those war times. China has emerged and India is emerging. Even with disputes China and India are keeping up and working on CBM. Pakistan learn something.

yaar inteha hey **** panay ki jab baat aye 1962 ke tu choro yaar porani baat hey agay ka soochoo.... aur wesay sara din bhaeet kar ****** rahta har Pakistan thread may about 1971 ..... kamaal hey yaar tum indians ka!

then I have to say that you know nothing about China, you know many many high ranking officials have their scandals exposed by the media and lose their jobs every year?much more than India. and critcizing and blaming everything on the government is the most popular pastime on Chinese internet and China has the biggest online population in the world.you just have been brainwashed by your media too much I guess.

Saying Tibetans have no contact with Han Chinese in their entire history can only you are poorly learned about history.go google and find them out.

Where is people participation in expressing the anger against corruption, everything is done by CCP.:cheesy:

You had contacts with Tibetans but none of the tribes of Arunachal Pradesh are Tibetans, you even don't have knowledge about the people of the territory you claim.:lol:

Friendship is good for both countries, but we must stay cautious..these sweet talks are often use for some strategic interests.
