What's new

Pushing back against China's One Belt One Road, India AND Japan build strategic 'Great Wall'

Your right they've only got 140 million people they desperately need your large horde of IT technicians from Chennai to take over Africa

Not just IT ; we have a large Trained manpower in all sectors

Our Human resources are VERY good that is why we are a 2.5 Trillion dollar economy

. . .
Its comedy how you indians come up with your grand strategies

We dont sell ourselves from One master to another unlike our neighbors

Other countries want to work togeher with India ; because we are a Capable nation
We dont go around with a Begging bowl

Great so whats happening? Will there be some sort of joint indo-jap ceremony or will the king of Japan come and bow at Modi's feet.
Will Modi let the king of Japan touch his 56 inch chest.
How does this work?

Whats your joint indo-jap Africa strategy by the way?

Are you going to hit Egypt first and work yourselves down or are you going to go straight down the middle and divide the continent first?

It's in fact a good thing for China, IF India and Japan could invest more on Asian and African infrastructure. A big warm welcome indeed.

Are you welcoming India on behalf of Africa ?

Are you still in SHOCK after Reading Yesterday's report in Dawn about China's "Plans "
regarding CPEC

Exclusive: CPEC master plan revealed

https://www.dawn.com/news/1333101/exclusive-cpec-master-plan-revealed

Your Sovereignity and way of life will be under serious Threat in the Next few years
Not really, I (unlikely a lot of people, including Pakistanis) actually went ahead and looked at the report. It barely has nothing new that we (most TTs and senior members on PDF) already didn't know about, or didn't already guess correctly.

In fact, the only thing that is surprising about the report is China's major focus on agriculture, and wanting to upgrade Pakistan's storage facilities.

Nothing in the report suggests that China is looking at long term control over CPEC, or Pakistani industries. If anything, it seems that China wants to build, operate, and hand over control back to Pakistan within 35/40ish years; You can tell by their direct investment and loan plans, which stretch for 3ish to 4ish decades.

One thing that struck me was just how much China kept emphasizing local sensitivities, and how much the Chinese government was pushing for Chinese corporations to get local Pakistani companies involved, or at the very least consulted, before they moved forward with any project.

Another odd, but unsurprising development (and we pretty much guessed this would be the case) was China's lack on interest in Pakistan's auto industry; Actually lack of interest seems to be a bad term, I think it's more of Pakistan being super protectionist in this industry, that China sees little point in picking a fight.

So in short china wants you to remain a agricultural country which produce raw goods and material for their population while they export automobiles to you :cheesy:

Wouldn't it have been easier to stay under the British raj ?

Forgive me if I don't take youtube videos seriously.

I don't need to listen to other people's opinions, in order to form my own; especially since I have all the material available to me, and don't want to listen to (pro/con) propaganda.

One thing to keep in mind is, the report is still incomplete. It does not give exact numbers, financial statements, estimates, or even deadlines. Most of this is mainly speculation, and guess work.

[Edit]: it seems to be written as more of a guideline, rather than an actual blue print.

Khud ki infrastructure kuch hain nehi, Africa aur SEA mein infra banane chale.

How much deluded can Indian fanbois get? Do you geniuses really think there is any actual plan?

This is the usual routine that happens in this sort of things. First China declare xyz program. Next India declares we will do the same. Fanboi Indians spam online forums to no end. Five years down the line China would have implemented the program and moved on while India won't have moved a finger.

Apni aukaad ke bare mein kuch bare minimum idea hona chahie. Ek decent expressway tumse banta nehi, Chin se takkar lene chale.
