Friday sermons should regulated all around Pakistan and Imams should be given hand outs in advance to discuss social issues and raise awareness, like:
- Environmental issues(cleaniness, trees plantation, green environement etc)
- Civic sense (how to be good role model law abiding citizen)
- Education
- Women participation in all walks of life
- Minority rights and tolerance
- Denouncing Extremism
- How extravagance should be avoided
- Patriotism/Economy/Diplomacy etc etc

Arabic of Quran and living language of Arabs are as different as ye olde English from before Shakespeare's time and present day English. Arab clerics have almost as difficult time understanding it as do Pakistani mullahs

It has nothing to do with Quranic Arabic vs modern spoken Arabic. As the difference in interpretations are centuries old.

How many modern day Arabs would fit that category? It's not about the ability to know the language. It's about carrying enlightenment and consciousness to be willing to receive a message.

Good but Instead of fixing one sermon government should publish official book of sermons on all important topics on which people needs to be educated to make it more productive. And try to keep all the quotes limited to Quranic verses only as nobody have any dispute over it.

Of course, No one is responsible for learning and interpretation of the Quran and Deen but every Soul for its own self.

Allah says, He has made the deen simple and easy for those who seek it. And to seek it, once has to carry a level of Intellect that raises them higher from the crowd and the distractions the crowd loves to pollute their senses with.

Anyone can offer their interpretation of the Quran but it should come with a warning, that its only their limited understanding and not the absolute truth, which the weaker minds and ignorants take on faith and follow others blindly.
Hence, every ignorant preacher or Mullah seems to have a bigger following of ignorants, while those with intellect have lower followings because perhaps more and more people are busy lowering their intellect and becoming victim to the distractions and manipulations of the Dunya.
