There’s somebody infront of me right now with a huge package of “Puerto Rican Bread”.
I wonder if it's any good?
My wife usually buys Scali bread. Being half Italian, she tends to lean more towards Italian made foods with almost everything she gets.
Just a shirt has these racist rednecks riled up. Good work Trump. Keep dividing America.
TBH, there's always been this kind of thing happening in the US for as long as I've been here (an that's a pretty looooong time) but it does seem to be a bit more out front and center since Trump became president. I'm not sure if it's something we just didn't pay much attention to before or were just accustomed to seeing it as just another part of societal tensions in a very diverse population and it just happens to be much more front and center now simply because everyone and their mamas and papas have phones and not just have them, but now have that built-in instinct to immediately pull out the phone and start recording. The presence of mind to do that is not something that we were accustomed to doing, those of us who were brought up in an age even before beepers/pagers.
That being said, it seems every single person (even kids under 10 years old) now has a phone and not just that, but has the wherewithal to immediately pull it out the second they see a showdown. The result is now we are flooded with viral videos of such things and so it's hard to tell if in fact this is the norm and we just never saw it in real time like now, or if it is a developing trend because of Trump. I would say it's probably a combination of both.
At the same time, people have to consider that the US is probably the LARGEST melting pot on this earth. You can find people from all shades, colors, ethnicity and walks of life that there is bound to be some friction here and there. The amazing thing is that despite all that, it's still the greatest country in the world IMO and I'll take it with all it and it's people's faults over any other any time.
BTW, I've witnessed several instances similar to the one in the OP with that drunken clown. I usually walk away and laugh it off.
