I think our idiotic Urdu news channels should at least put English titles and main stories so that at least one can read main stories if dont understand urdu.

Dont qoute Rouf Klasra he is a man who see billions of rupees crouption in just some thousands rupees quotation. In other meaning in his story khuda pahar nikla choha woh bhi mara hova.

Yes gradually add more languages though Persian does not warrant a dedicated channel since audience is too small but yes news should be broadcasted in Persian.

Persian maybe useful in Central Asian and Iranian markets to counter Indian influence, especially now that Afghanistan may have a media vaccum in the coming months/years.

These channels also need to be given the budget to make TV shows, Movies, dramas, etc. to build up Pakistan’s cultural image abroad (I.e. Soft power) as well as wean our people off Bollywood and Indian cultural products.

We should also not forget Radio stations. Easily overlooked by also strategic in certain demographics.
