As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gears up to announce the fate of its candidates from Lahore, bad news has emerged from the party’s parliamentary board for former provincial minister Aleem Khan, once the biggest financer for PTI, Pakistan Today has learnt.

According to details, Aleem Khan had a heated argument with party chairman Imran Khan after he was denied party tickets for NA-126 and two provincial seats.

When contacted, Aleem Khan declined to comment.

However, sources revealed that Aleem Khan had been embroiled in controversy when PTI leaders accused him of rigging the party’s intra-party elections.

If Aleem Khan is not awarded the ticket, he may quit the party and contest as an independent candidate. So far, Sardar Assef Ahmad and Inamullah Niazi have quit the PTI over differences with the party leadership over election tickets.

PTI chief Imran Khan has withdrawn his candidacy papers from NA-126. PTI senior leader Shafqat Mahmood now stands a stronger chance of getting ticket from this constituency.

sohail warriach said that PTI has the potential to win 18 seats out of 29 from KPK which doesnot include Hazara wal 7 seats. @AstanoshKhan seems if nothing went wrong, KPK is ours?

Insha'Allah...

One of my faraway friend aged 29 got a provincial ticket too from my constituency - PK6... the second most influential fellow of Peshawar (ex City Nazim) too got a ticket for PK5 which falls under NA1 (where IK is contesting) and he would be playing a major role in brining that Railway-eater down too Insha'Allah.

From my layman analysis, PTI is up for a clean sweep Insha'Allah.
