What's new

PTI's Azadi March 14th August 2014 l Updates and debate.

This "maturity" was needed since 2013.

Why did it take the precious lives of 100s of innocent kids for IK to realize the simple fact. We are in the middle of the war for our survival and not some gad-forsaken cricket cup.

Well since i consider imran an immature politician thus an act of maturity very very refreshing to see considering he is the third rising party and an answer to status quo. Lets support this decision of his bcz its a good one.

yes imran has been immature in his political career but this decision has been a mature one so even if its late ( since you say he should have kept a united front since zarb-e-azb began and not create soo many ripples in the govt since the country was in war) it should be appreciated and i am happy to see that he actually made a good mature decision since i support his party due to its ability to challenge the status quo of PPP and N.

. .
face facing given by NS and taken by IK , its as simple as that ..
If NS didnt invited him, things would be different as He called in APC of all parliamentary parties and Thereek i no Insaaf resigned from parliament any way...

.
If he is immature when he is demanding an audit of previous elections then we need more like him..since as per your say IK displays maturity sometimes also.. I am fine to have a country leader like him. This recent decision shows he understands his nation's feelings and will give in if nation demands..now its up to the mature, experienced and visionary nawaz to act...and if he fails to act then I am sure we need to get rid of experienced politicians like him and Zardari

If nawaz didn't invite IK then he would've been seen as extremely selfish..also IK if wanted could've continued it as dharma is for another vital national issue. It was certainly not necessary to do it but he STILL did it.

so in simple words you agree :) face saving opportunity given by NS and taken by IK

I would rather say otherwise.. If Nawaz didn't invite IK to APC then he would've bee seen as Selfish, he had to invite IK to APC in order to been seen as a national leader and IK did rightly accept the invitation... plus again it was NOT necessary to end the dharna but he still did it..calling off the 18th december #PakistanLockdown was Politically enough to sacrifice and not this.

i agree with you to some extend. but as you said, "it was NOT necessary to end the dharna" it was the need of the hour and politically he gained more by ending it .. in similar way calling IK to APC was not necessary as they have already resigned but it was important politically ..

Both are not leaders in anyway, they played politically......

@Syed.Ali.Haider

I could have made this a normal thread, but for two reasons I did not do so.

1. IK can come back to this again within a few months, citing one excuse or the other. I expect this thread to become active some time in the future, certainly before next elections. These days even IK's sneeze generates multiple threads. Whoever wishes to share Dharna-related news or discussion can come here automatically.

2. I will let WebMaster or who ever made this thread a sticky make that decision. I am known for my unfavorable view of IK, and any action I take can be mis-construed as motivated by my political views.

I humbly disagree.

This was never an Azadi march.

it never will be.

It was a recipe of disaster for the PTI and for the country.

When a country is going through civil war, the last thing we need is "$tupid marches" that add to the instability.

Like adding fuel to the fire.

Such threads here, and such talk shows on TV are clearly anti-Pakistan.
