Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif contacts Fauzia Kasuri, asks her to join PML-N

LAHORE: Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif has reportedly contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member (PTI) Fauzia Kasuri and made her an offer to join PML-N’s women wing, according to sources close to the PML-N, Express News has reported.
One of the central figures of PTI and a close associate of Imran Khan, Fauzia Kasuri has previously served as PTI women’s wing president and a liaison person for the party’s overseas chapters.
With PTI winning six reserved seats – four in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two in Punjab – Kasuri lost the chance to represent the party in the assembly.
With many sacrifices for PTI including surrendering dual-nationality, there has been evident friction between Kasuri and PTI.
In her opinion, it all started when “compromised people” were given a chance to join the party. Though she realises the dynamics of any political party and the fact that people have to be taken on board, she feels “parties must stick to their ideology”.
She says her colleagues’ apathy and Khan’s silence give her signals that she is not needed anymore, since no one has contacted her or replied to her emails.

PTI leader Fauzia Kasuri was dejected for not being among those who made it to the parliament on reserved seats.
She publicly vented her anger on twitter, igniting a heated debate among PTI leaders and supporters.
Khan finally broke his silence on the issue when he tweeted, “the senseless controversy over women reserved seats must end. The two who made it from Punjab have come on merit.”

What do people expect now?

There are only 2 seats and the merit list was drawn before the elections...how many people can you fit in 2 seats?

And BTW, the second lady is Munazza Hassan, not Ayla Malik.

Now don't tell me that Munazza Hassan did not deserve it either? She also has been along term member of PTI, since the beginning.

Ms Fauzia Kasuri should understand that there are only 2 seats and some people have to be left out. No need to create controversy.

AFAIK, the reserved seat from Punjab was given to Shireen Mazari and some other lady, not Memoona Hashmi, @Leader, @Jazzbot could bring out the complete list.

ANd Ayla Malik was given ticket for by elections from Mianwali, Asad Umar is from Islamabad.

All parties in Pakistan have faced the situation of their party members leaving but not MQM unless they are cast away by Altaf on some grounds and the reason for this is what i stated above.
