PTI Minority MPA Gunned Down in Buner

Til date they've been the only one who have killed Malik Ishaaq. I expect better from an organized, well funded and well equipped, well motivated and well trained force.

Better than US forces in Afghanistan? You got it. Learn how this new type of war is fought. When PM can't utter a word when foreign spies are captured, when PM runs out of country to buy Rolexes and expensive suits, when Metros are more important than development in terror affected areas then you shouldn't complain. Brace for more instead.

How is Kacha area of Rajanpur by the way,?

Penetrated Pakistan, got their man, got out and the forces were napping?

Tell me how many countries in the world has given any sh***t whatsoever to this huge achievement? Even a single statement from anyone?
Let me tell you that at current Pakistan has non-existing diplomatic goodwill against India or even heck afghanistan.

If no one can penetrate Pakistan from Indian border then why Afghan border is always an excuse?

1. There is the geographical factor, the Pak-Afghan Border is divided over mountains, making it much more difficult to secure when the line of sight is disrupted by a permanent topographic feature every 10 metres.

2. The Durand Line bisects communities that historically traverse the line with daily frequency.

3. The area has a number of passes known only to locals.

4. The type of budget available for the East has never been approved for the west.

Isn't it ironic that it wasn't Pakistan but India that started fencing the border first. And the wires for our Khokharpar borders were supplied by Iraqis.

Not ironic at all. India had good reason to fear cross border movement which could enhance the Kashmir struggle and perhaps launch attacks further south in their support. Our lack of any domestic insurgency at the time meant that Pakistan had no such concerns to drive us to the conclusion that our border must be fenced.

On the sleeper cells and radicalization, even the South Punjab the so called hive of extremists turned out to be a short romance with Chotu gang.

If you think Chotu is all there is in South Punjab then you need a quick revision on the politics there. Anyone who has been to Faisalabad or Jhang will tell you the situation there has become almost unbearable and civilian law enforcement is powerless to stop it where they are not active accomplices already.

Everybody knows who are the breeders and where are the hives. Not a single seminary raided.

That is entirely, factually incorrect.

Lal masjid wala fasadi continues to roam free.

Yes, due to a deal with the government. As soon as he starts speaking, he is shown the document and shut up again. As soon as the government feels it no longer needs him as a guarantee, he will also be put down.

Jesh/JuD/ASWJ continue to operate freely despite banned.

Once again, that is the prerogative of the Punjab Government which enjoys considerable bonhomie with these elements. The Military cannot intervene in the provinces until requisitioned by the CM.

Why so? because these are the "useful people". Not me and people like me would go out to fight the proxy war but these people would. So I always say that they will never be touched because you never know when they come handy

Given our condition, I would say we're not going to be fighting proxy wars for the next 5 decades unless the GoP inherits Saudi Aramco.

On safoora goath the details were hushed because it provided political space to MQM
Here's an except from whatever was released

There's a world of difference between Al-Qaida and anything implicating JI. The matter has been very well dealt in what is heralded as one of the most successful police intelligence operations in the history of the country. The entire gang has been busted, things are progressing at the usual, albeit traditionally slow pace through the judicial system. As soon as this matter lands at the discretion of the Mil Courts, it will be finished quickly.

You need diplomatic goodwill before you launch diplomatic offensive which you don't fckkkin have right now.

Of course, nobody will give a sh*t if diplomats are appointed on family relationships. Prime Minister visits are to look after personal business and shopping and he can't utter a word in front of world leaders without reading from a paper! Diplomatic offensive was the job of civilian government. NS would die before he utters a word against Modi'so India. His business interests are at stake.

Where are FATA reforms? Where is civilian government in area cleared by army? If you think political government can hide in Raiwind while army will just magically cleanse everything, you have missed the entire pivot of counter terrorism. No peace is coming unless political government takes over her responsibilities in affected areas. No army in the world, repeat no army in the world can stabilise the situation on her own. If you can't get this point in your skull, wait for next such incident. Peace ain't coming with political arses freezing in front of air conditioners.

List of excuses can be as long as you want them to be. The end result is that always any such attack is dumped on Taliban coming from Afghanistan. If they can't be check, this means we are not going to see an end to this wave of terrorism because the source is out of our control.

I hope being a person from forces, you do understand that I used the word "Border", not the LoC (which is also fence anyways) which is not technically the border.
That is entirely, factually incorrect.
1-These are Police raids since attributed to provincial government.
2-Like this Rangers raided seminaries in Karachi but not a single one was closed. So this brings me to my next question that if no seminary is harboring anything wrong or they are allowed to operate despite being found involved why the fuzz do we keep hearing about them being hatcheries when we ourselves are allowing the bad ones to produce more?
Yes, due to a deal with the government. As soon as he starts speaking, he is shown the document and shut up again. As soon as the government feels it no longer needs him as a guarantee, he will also be put down.
Again a convenience hiding behind the Government. Army is an independent institution, for their own interest they have never been dependent upon the government to do what's necessary
Once again, that is the prerogative of the Punjab Government which enjoys considerable bonhomie with these elements. The Military cannot intervene in the provinces until requisitioned by the CM.

Independent operation gives army fair enough space to do the necessary, if willing.
Given our condition, I would say we're not going to be fighting proxy wars for the next 5 decades unless the GoP inherits Saudi Aramco.
I'd wish but our History says otherwise. Heck even Saudis have declared LeT as a terrorist organization despite we being failing to do so for obvious reasons

I hope you'd be more aware than me that in Musharraf era from whose house the AQ operatives were arrested. You'd also know that recently AQ operatives were arrested from the Hostel of a famous student organization of PU. Many stories which ultimately yield no political benefit go hush

I hope you would tell us that we being diplomatic orphans is a 3-4 years old phenomenon

OMG! I think the first shyt you guys need to sort out is that who would own that shyt. PTI says they want it, FATA people say they want to stay separate. Though I agree that FATA be made a separate province but would this solve the problem? I'm uncertain.

Rip to the brave man....but PTI doesn't give a single damn about this just drama imran khan only tweeted and that's all no statements from any other PTI elected goons...KPK is running by the mafia name PTI no law and order no check and balances only hungar to snatch prime ministership...that's a sad shameful story of KPK government

.
That is terrible. Did he recently speak out against anyone? What was the motive?

.
did u hear any word from IK on his death, and morally his death is the responsibility of PTI and its Government.

.
You should also ask what's been happening in Shawwal and Khyber-1? If Talibans have been cleansed from there why do they successfully keep popping up every now and then?
A government building and a park attacked
A polio team attack
now a politician gunned down.
Who the hell are we killing in anti-terrorism ops?
That's not how war works.

First of all, just because you got rid of the terrorists from a certain location, doesn't mean they're completely gone. Terror attacks will continue to happen, but they no longer have a base in those areas where the military launched offensives.

There will always be sympathizers, simply because you can't get rid of terrorism 100%, all you can do is contain it.

If you thought that those offensives would get rid of terrorism 100%, you're naive. If you think they've done nothing, then you're ignorant.

.
Its the handi work of islamic state aka daesh , lets be in denial these goons are now making there presence felt all over pakistan , real
Evil Lies in mindset/ idealogy of these men .. How to tackle it simply burn those books , rather than declaring every one a raaaaa ka agent

.
Fckkkn sweet. FYI at least 4-5 people were arrested as "MasterMinds" of Safoora Goath. The inquiry which attempted to frame MQM ended up with Killers hailing from Jamat-e-Islami but the inquiry was dumped quietly because it yielded no political benefit.

If The Rangers Operation Is A Political Witch Hunt,Then We Would Have Been Having The Same Rampant Bloodshed in Karachi That We Had When "Democracy Was The Best Revenge"

The Fact That Terrorism Has Significantly Decreased Is Testament To The Fact That This Is A Genuine Operation Not Some Petty Politics

And FYI The Safoora Killers Were Not Jamaati They Were Al Qaeda
