ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Quershi on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government did not file any case against the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N.

All the corruption and money laundering cases were filed against the PPP and PML-N, leaders during the period of last regimes, he stated while talking to a private television channel.

The national accountability bureau (NAB), was handling the cases of corruption and money laundering and that the institution was working independently in the country, he added.

Commenting on Nawaz Sharif's health, he said it was the moral duty of the Ex Prime Minister to inform the courts about the health situation.
Defending Prime Minister Imran Khan's position for taking decision regarding Nawaz Sharif, he said that PML-N leader was granted permission on the basis of medical reports.

The problem actually stems from the fact that one of those named is the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and this created two major problems.

Firstly the law of Pakistan does not apply to that region as it has its own procedural and penal law and being booked under Pakistani penal law is simply an illegal act that is opposite to the procedure. Both the Azad Kashmir courts and the Pakistani courts have declared Azad Kashmir as a Foreign Country whose leadership and citizens are to be governed as such. So booking the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir was downright foolish by the concerned FIR.

Secondly the relationship between Azad Kashmir and Pakistan is extremely complicated and the atmosphere is such amongst their parliamentarian and the people that the state of Pakistan should not interfere much. We saw this with the passage of the 13th amendment and the extreme opposition the 14th amendment has received so far. By doing this, it made it seem like the current Pakistani government was interfering in the political matters of Azad Kashmir which was to surely strain the balanced relation between the two regions. The days of Sardar Ibrahim came flooding,

In this manner, the FIR has become controversial and while this has happened before and no noise was made, the Azad Kashmir twist has made it so and Imran would be rightfully angry as the current government doesnt need anymore pressure to be placed on them.

I am wondering. I have seen many politicians do stuff like this so i am very skeptical about this. The FIR wont be able to stand but here is a thing. It did help create an image that the sitting government is targeting them as they will scream to the world and in next jalsas that they have faced treason charges the moment they started calling for protest. Two things are a must for this 'Democratic' protest. An issue must be created on everything and government must victimize them.
They have a bunch of topics to make issue out of so they are secure for that however if the government doesnt start suppressing them, they will fail to make it clear that they are being victimized. If we undergo this form of thinking this treason charge, which will not hold in court at all, could be a simple ploy to make it look like a form of victimization.

In the legal circles there is a technique to weaken a case against you. For example you have committed a crime. You get your own people to file an FIR against you on flimsy grounds, weak evidence and contradictory FIR and after a year of proceeding, be declared innocent. You basically got away by doing a crime. The law has become alot strict now but at one time like a decade ago, this tactic was employed by everyone and even today in Civil cases it is employed as beneficiary of a decree file an appeal on that decree on purpose to get an order that the decree does not warrant an appeal by making weak arguments.

I hate the tinfoil hat but i am gonna say this was a self move and the fact that it was done by a PMLN worker lends more credence to this fact. For the last two days, you have seen government giving excuses and being blamed but the air of victimization is being prepared and throw in Azad Kashmir as well to make it triple. Maybe i am overthinking but i have seen this happen before so i wonder.....

This is very much a possibility as not only the FIR was launched by PML-N worker but it was filed in a Police Station of Shahdra area in which is one of the most strongest PML-N supporting area and third coincidence is that No one was consulted by Police before launching this FIR ....

So first thing could be a coincidence, even second time could be coincidence but it could not a consecutive coincidence in a single case for the third time its a proper planned move ....
