Please be patient. The website is under maintenance so we see a spike in unfiltered activity. On the other hand, it just shows how important the moderation team is at PDF and their thankless job moderating through the forums.

What's the counter measure then? Except wrapping a wet cloth around your face and goggles?

Wet rag around the mouth will work just fine. Avoid using (n95) won’t be effective unless fit tested - and use wraparound goggles:

First aid - expose eyes to fresh air - avoid drinking water as mucus gland and excessive salivation poses a choking hazard. If someone is experiencing respiratory distress - loosen tight clothes - seat casualty in W position- if casualty in unconscious but breathing - maintain open airway and place then In recovery position.

Aftercare - when you come home decontaminate yourself by removing clothes in a plastic bag and having a cold shower - wash your contaminated clothes separately from your clean clothes as the particles will contaminate your clothes.

An eye doctor on a Space suggested packing:

Alcaine eye drops - anesthetise eyes in case of tear gas, you don't feel the pain/burning

Systane eye lubricant gel - for soothing.

Don't wear makeup or contact lens , because that can trap tear gas & prolong the burning.

Pervaiz Elahi first need confirmation that IK will make him Punjab CM after elections as well in case of their victory. Though I believe he has been given that assurance.

Also asking for vote of confidence will result in 8-10 days delay to complete the process. IK wanted to start his march in May at any cost. Salik Hussein , son of Chaudhry Shujhat hasn't resigned as federal minister as of now. If he resigns , than we will have a clear indication that call for vote of confidence is near.
