As the PDM cocktail PM said: "Beggars can't be choosers". So their main objectives are to keep Pakistani nation hostage to the US life support systems all the time while filling up their own coffers abroad. Keep monopoly of power within the corrupt leadership of the PDM and let the compromised and/or corrupt military establishment guard them as per the Master's orders. The poorer the people the better, so all Pakistanis just keep struggling to get their piece of bread, 24 hours of electricity so that they won't have time to really think about what's happening to them. And suppress them with such brutality that no one ever dares to protest or strives to gain his/her rights. That's how a colony of slaves is managed by the slave masters.

And yes the path to dignity and freedom would be difficult and would be made more harsh by Mir Sadiq and Mir Jafars of the society. But Pakistan is still too big to fail. If a big power tries to corner us and starve us from their printed money. Well then Pakistan too is free to export the most sought after product in the market, the nuclear and missile tech to 10 other countries. And we would be back on track on the economic front then. There would be no money launderers left, no loans to pay, we can easily be pretty much self sufficient country. Other materials we require could easily be sourced from Russia or China. The east is rising fast and we can have a healthy trade relations with the eastern block of countries.

Only the corrupt politicians ,Generals and corrupt elites would be at the disadvantage, because their properties/assets abroad could seized the relevant Govts and there would be no western retirement destinations in the lost of their job perks.

Exactly. Pakistan needs to start deep trade, economy, military relations with Russia, China, Iran, Turkey, Qatar, Central Asia, ASEAN, Africa. These countries should know Pakistan has a red line and it must be respected. Respectable mutual relationship can be formed.

Regarding foreign assets, why not invest in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and other friendly nations. Why not retire there or even in your own beloved Pakistan. Get rid of corruption and Pakistan will be a heaven.

The fantasies of the Hollywood, Western culture, Gori chamrhi, the love of colonial Mai baap Aakaa don't let the elite to even think of alternate destinations in the east or friendly countries. They were brought up and spent much of their lives living in fantasies of the west. Oh and they go there for "trainings" and temporary accomodations too.

Where was Rawalpindi Awaam during the long march?

If I was IK I would cancel the long march. There is no way to win unless establishment is neutral or is backing you. Why should IK fight the establishment, the corrupt parties when 2M people can't march to Islamabad. Its either too hot or too cold, or they don't want to walk the walk, but talking 24 7 is art.
