When your ISP you are getting unlimited data they cant add restrictions unless they update your contract with your consent if you dont want than wont make any changes until your contract expires than you can choose new ISP or if they can provide you similar services

Try downloading 4K content or uploading a 4k, 8k content
2 to 4 minutes clip is 1 gig , so if you are vlogger who is uploading 20 minutes of video daily in 4k ? You know when you will reach your data cap

Even if someone is downloading movies ? If they are using the right way who are you to stop and judge them ?
I download movies , tv shows via Amazon prime & Netflix and few other services ? How is that wrong i m paying for my services .
Usually 1 season of 4k tv show is around 30 to 50 ish gigs

Problem is PTCL is state run scam company , who is using bullying tactics instead of providing better services to its customers and majority of users dont have any other provider in that area so they dont have any other options

Okay let me stop my nonsense I was talking about the data usage by freelancers, where you do read I said PTCL is right in this case? You are barking on wrong tree.

if you have fiber optic connection then it is good otherwise PTCL suck.

My connection is fiber only till the area DB. 15ms ping on usual days.

Pakistan ahead of india in terms of mobile internet speed but behind india in terms of fixed broadband

We should be heavily ahead since India is such a huge country so their average speeds should be much lower. We are marginally only by 5 positions i think ahead of India in mobile internet speed and massively below 60+ positions compared to India in terms of broadband. We should be actually massively ahead of them if internet wasn't so shoite in pakistan given the size of our country.

this is the main problem almost no competition for ptcl.
my friend from Karachi told me they many alternative there.

Only stormfiber is big competition to PTCL but its available only in few areas. Nayatel packages are shite with low speed otherwise they are stable but they are only in Islamabad.
