Protests in Lahore

Courts should do what he says in a random interview? Thats not how things work! Courts kya us k ghulam hain. woh jo kahay ga karien gy? If he can keep parliament open till midnight maybe sit outside court at nights...they will open.
Lmao ignoring the main point I see. You said he should go to courts and now you are saying courts should listen to him. Ironic innit?

Courts won't open at midnight when it comes to horse trading but will surely open when it comes to regime change ops.

It was the first time a Speaker had declared allegiance to Parliament over the king, and the message was clear — not even the King of England was above a democratically elected Parliament."
This just contradicts your entire rant, even if the King of England, who is ordained by God is the protector of the faith isn’t above parliament how did the court deem itself worthy to contravene its speaker’s ruling?

You are now becoming champion on Article 69 but why the hell Deputy Speaker was not following Article 95. He was bound by constitution to conduct vote. If PTI make Dy Speaker someone like Qasim Suri who is not educated on constitution this was bound to happen.

95Vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister.
(1)A resolution for a vote of no-confidence moved by not less than twenty per centum of the total membership of the National Assembly may be passed against the Prime Minister by the National Assembly.
(2)A resolution referred to in clause (1) shall not be voted upon before the expiration of three days, or later than seven days, from the day on which such resolution is moved in the National Assembly.
(3)A resolution referred to in clause (1) shall not be moved in the National Assembly while the National Assembly is considering demands for grants submitted to it in the Annual Budget Statement.
(4)If the resolution referred to in clause (1) is passed by a majority of the total membership of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister shall cease to hold office.

Dy speaker ruling was unconstitutional even PTI attorney general agreed and court can interfere for unconstitutional matters, Dy Speaker is not some king who can make one sided decision when loss is clear. They had only one argument court can't interfere let us do the wrong or whatever we want. Jokers

"Deputy Speaker Suri’s boss is not Imran Khan — it is the National Assembly. The Speaker of Parliament is meant to serve as a champion of parliamentarians.

When King Charles I of England sought to dissolve the House of Commons in 1642 and demanded the support of Speaker William Lenthal, the latter refused to submit to the King, saying: “May it please your majesty, I have neither eyes to see nor tongue to speak but as this House is pleased to direct me, whose servant I am here”.

It was the first time a Speaker had declared allegiance to Parliament over the king, and the message was clear — not even the King of England was above a democratically elected Parliament."

Till the last moment IK was saying they will come back to PTI nahi tou inkay bachon sy koi shadi nahi karay ga.

What court could do about horse trading? Call them in court and arrest? Where is the evidence? PTI presented any evidence? ilzam lagana asaan hota sabit karna nahi.

Deep down PTI knows bohot bara bhand ho gya and even now IK is admitiing Dy Speaker adivse was wrong. Is ko baad mein hi khayal ata hai..He is 70 and still making mistakes...
Read the article above clause 1. Notice the word used in clause 1 is “may”. Read the other clauses, notice word used is “shall”. Another words, a speaker may indeed dismiss a no confidence vote based on some legality. If he does not, he has to have it voted in between 3 to 7 days. Deputy speaker did not nothing wrong based on purely textual understanding. Unf, didn’t suit the purposes of some people. Clv.

Peaceful protests, jalsas, and long marches will never work. It is time the masses show their rage. Institutions have failed the people, time and time again, they have shown they are compromised and that they cater to a few people only.. The military whose job it is to protect the people, are in cohesion with foreign powers. I am sick and tired of the establishments hold, they are the ones holding Pakistan back. Nothing short of revolution is needed to break these chains.

Unconstitutional or not Courts cannot comment on Parliament and Parliament cannot comment on the courts.

They opened a Pandora’s box, a dangerous Pandora’s box, this ruling by the courts has established a judicial dictatorship in Pakistan

Haha tou kya ghalat hai...voting ho tou it may pass or fail. tumharay mind mein sirf fail hai kyun k har tou samnay thi. 😆 voted ka word nazar nahi ata kya? kya bachay ho yar really..

It says a resolution for a vote of no confidence may be passed. Depends on what passed means - I can pass a bill- does not mean it has passed by a majority.

Passed here does not mean that it will succeed- synonymous with approved or moved by members. If it is passed by a majority, then it is approved. Even getting passed, is a “may”- not “shall”.

Which is why clause 4 says passed with majority.

Anyways, the point is that the use of the word “may” in clause 1 gives the speaker plenty of legal room to dismiss the vote based on some legal justification. Which he had plenty of. If, for example, he had refused to dismiss the PM after the vote passed or broken 2,3,4 then it would be a case of breaking the constitution.

PTIians Papa hiding behind kids because they are scared maybe vigo will come for them to update software. 😆

Looking at ISPR wall getting demolished with 16 thousand tweets against Bajwa PR stunt, Pakistan is no longer afraid of VIGO

Tomorrow if there is vote for PM selection and Speaker declare winner other candidate instead of Imran Khan...Sahi hai na phir? tab bhi ye kaho gy courts cant interfere? ya r rona shuru kar do gy ?

kuch tou aqal karo...koi common sense bhi hoti hai...lagta hai ratta system ka asar hai.
The affairs of parliament are to only be judged by Parliament, the Courts and the Crown/President cannot intervene with proceedings period.

😆I can laugh at you only.....5 judges are wrong? But you want us to believe that PTI PM PTI FM are correct about letter? I know from where you are getting this...PTI top team is like that...Its not your fault because you follow them. They already learned the lesson by losing PM seat but they had to save face to keep support by hook or crook. But all this will backfire just like Madina plan. Today many PMLN PPP ministers prayed Eid in open places...koi video nahi ayi? Madina mein itni giri harkat ki...Allah tou sab janta hai na.

but tell me one thing

You’re dodging the issue. I never spoke of anything except the legal language in said article. In plain English, it does not say what you say it says. Doesn’t seem like you appreciate what it is saying in plain English. You’re looking to deflect and derail the conversation from the point I am making. Speaking of tangents and otherwise. Like I said, if the constitution is clear, and it says the speaker “shall” do something, then by all means, he should act like a post man. When it says, “may”, he gets to use his judgment.

Also in this case, I understand that 5 judges made a decision- only problem is that they only made the SC more questionable and degraded their own moral authority. Our courts have a history, we don’t live in Switzerland or something. It’s plain as light for everyone to see how many things or wrong.

Yes(You will accept result because speaker gave ruling)
or
No(What are your option? You dont like courts now a days. kahan jao gy?)
?
This is beyond one person, it’s over the principles of common law.

For centuries the ruling of speakers have never been questioned and accepted as law, that was until 5 Judges in Pakistan decided that they didn’t care about the laws and legal system. There’s a reason no court in the commonwealth used Pakistani rulings and legal jurisprudence.

So if a speaker makes a ruling that a certain candidate won a parliamentary election, my opinion is irrelevant

I suggest you to become Judge. You can then do all the right as you want. PTI should do this also. Sponsor fees for students who want to become lawyers and then judge.
Yup, no real response to the legal point because you have nothing to respond with. Great!
