Anyways, the point is that the use of the word “may” in clause 1 gives the speaker plenty of legal room to dismiss the vote based on some legal justification. Which he had plenty of. Also in this case, I understand that 5 judges made a decision- only problem is that they only made the SC more questionable and degraded their own moral authority. Our courts have a history, we don’t live in Switzerland or something. It’s plain as light for everyone to see how many things or wrong.

This is beyond one person, it’s over the principles of common law.

For centuries the ruling of speakers have never been questioned and accepted as law, that was until 5 Judges in Pakistan decided that they didn’t care about the laws and legal system. There’s a reason no court in the commonwealth used Pakistani rulings and legal jurisprudence.

So if a speaker makes a ruling that a certain candidate won a parliamentary election, my opinion is irrelevant
