Protester disrupts PM Manmohan Singh’s speech

As Prime Minister Manmohan Singh prepared to address International Academic Conference at Vigyan Bhawan here on Saturday, a man started shouting slogans against him and tried to disrupt the proceedings.

As Dr Singh was to deliver his speech on economic reforms, a man, whose details are yet to be known, stood up and took off his shirt and started shouting slogans against the Prime Minister.

However, the security officials overpowered him and whisked him away.

PM Manmohan Singh's speech on economic reforms was disrupted on Saturday at a conference after a man started sloganeering against him at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
PM was about to address International Academic Conference when a man stood on a desk and started shouting slogans.

The protester was taken away by PM's security after he took off his shirt and shouted slogans.

He was shouting, "PM vapas jao, vapas jao" standing on a desk before PM Manmohan Singh's speech.

PM was addressing International Academic Conference on economic growth in Asia and changes of corporate environment at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
